Masterpiece responded promptly, showed up as scheduled and even made sure to finish the job as fast as possible in spite of some days lost due to Hurricane Irma. The crew was polite and the the supervisor is a wonderful painter and easy to work with. They were also able to install crown moldings in several rooms with beautiful results.

Masterpiece Painting Contractors scheduled an appointment with me at 8:30. They arrived at exactly 8:30. They reviewed the work that I requested and made sure that they had everything correct, i.e. areas that were going to be painted and paint color. Masterpiece Painting Contractors covered my computer and furniture to protect it from paint. They did an absolue wonderful job. They painted my exterior home and every since then, I have been calling them for all of my painting needs. They always do a great job. A great job that you don't even have to review their work but they insist that you do before they leave your property.

We hired Masterpiece Painting to repaint the interior and exterior of our home. At the time of completion we thought the work was done to specifications. The experience in dealing with Masterpiece Painting was a good one with some exceptions. One of painters who was painting over the garage began painting before my wife had left the house and her car was parked in the driveway. The overspray showered the black car, with tan car with paint. We were able to get the car washed and the paint was able to be buffed off. To their credit Masterpiece did pay for the car wash.
The biggest issue we have with Masterpiece Painting is that they do not stand by their work. We purchaed the premium paint with the 7 year warranty. 2 years after the work was done, the paint on the garage doors began to bubble up and chip away. We contacted Masterpiece about this and asked that they fix the work. Their response was that the warranty did not cover this because the paint was chipping as a result of the paint underneath that was originally put on the house.
We tested this theory out and had another contractor examine the doors. His opinion was that Masterpiece did not properly prep the doors before painting them and as a result the paint had begun to bubble up. His logic was that prior to peeling off with both layers of paint, the exterior layer cracked first, allowing heat and moisture in. Since we live in Florida where temperatures and humidity are both high in the summer this problem can escalate rather quickly.
Masterpiece should have made this right or when the work was done, they should have removed the first layer of paint before selling us the additional warranty.
Another area where their work did not hold up was the patching of the patio surface. The initial work was sloppy and the patch work was not smooth. We asked that they redo this work before we signed off on the completion of the job. It looked ok after they reddi it but within a few months the patchwork mortar/cement they used began to chip
I would not recommend their services.

They are the best; they are fabulous. They painted our neighbor's house. They are so good that they are getting everybody's business on our block. They are really good people. They were easy to talk to and made a point to make a phone call if they were late or couldn't come. If they couldn't come because it was too wet or windy, they always told me why. They were more expensive but it didn't bother me because I knew they would show up. They went the extra mile. I was very pleased with them. I've known them all my life; they are guys that I went to high school with. I would use them again without a doubt. They are totally okay people.

From the time Martin the owner gave us the estimate to when the work was finished it was an excellent experience. Martin was prompt and professional when he came to give us the estimate which was lower than 2 other estimates we had received. After checking out the company reviews on this web site we decided to go with Benchmark. The crew of Juan, Gilbert and Romero were great. Sherry in the office was very helpful and always kept us informed. All work was done professionally and they responded to any additional instructions or changes we made without any problems or issues. When we originally scoped the job we told Martin that the paint to be used on the moldings had to match the paint already on our casings. The first coat of paint did not match but that night they took a sample of the casing paint and the next day had a new gallon that matched. No fuss no arguments. The molding work came out beautiful. It was a very good experience and we would definitely use them again.

Their quote was higher than the company I plan to use and they were going to do a lot less work. He told us we had to replace doors and the company I am going to use said the doors did not need to be changed. They took a long time to get back to me with a written quote. They are not bad but the estimator was telling me more about what they could not do than what they could. The estimator was not on time to present the quote -- he was over an-hour-and-a-half-late and did not leave much time to go over the quote. He sent the quote by email and never really followed up.

interior of my home with sheets. These gentlemen, none of whom I had met before, were indeed, all gentlemen. The English-speaking skills of the foreman are excellent and Mr. Catana's, by the way, are nearly perfect.

Within six hours 1400 SF of ceiling had been expertly primed and painted.

I will be calling his crew back in for the next go-round.
