MARC ROBERTSON ELECTRICAL

We moved into a house and discovered, little by little, a series of electrical problems. None of the outlets in one bathroom worked. There was very little light in several of the rooms, with only a fan light that used dim bulbs and had dark shades. Some rooms we could use lamps, but some needed overall bright lights, like the kitchen and my office. Outdoor lights on sensors were not working. We had a handyman look at the job, and he changed a GFI outlet which did not fix the problem. He recommended Marc Robertson as a licensed electrician whose work he had seen and approved of previously. We had two estimates, which were pretty similar, but we just had more of a feeling of confidence in Marc. He was responsive to our calls, came promptly, was neat and clean and pleasant, as was his assistant. He spent much more time than he estimated due to problems out of his control, such as numerous firebreaks inside the walls that made it hard to route wires where he wanted, and numerous dead electrical boxes and wires in the attic from previous renovations that made it time consuming to isolate the correct wires and troubleshoot them. He did everything we asked, and also cleaned up all the old junk to make it easier for the next guy to work. Of course, as long as we are living in the house, we intend for him to be the next guy when necessary!
