"Mr. [Member Name Removed] hired us to remodel his kitchen in the condominium, we ask for 50% of the cost of labor and we also ask for the total cost of the material in order to buy it. When signing the contract, Mr. [Member Name Removed] made us also sign the blueprint that he had and told us that he did it because he wanted to make sure that everything was as it appeared; also he was agree with the material quality Since it was shown to him prior to the installation. The demolition was done and the old cabinets removed from the place immediately, the kitchen and living room walls were painted and all the cabinets were in the apartment ready to be installed. The kitchen cabinets were installed both in the upper and lower part and the problem arose because the cabinet that was located near the fridge in the lower part had an incorrect measurement according to the blueprint he gave us . The cabinet was very wide and it was not possible to return to the factory because we opened the box , so without hesitation we decided to use our money to go to the factory which was almost 2 hours away to bring a cabinet that would fit the space and make the client feel good about the work that was being done. Unfortunately the cabinet that was needed was 20" but the factory supply did not have it so they gave us an 18" cabinet for which a 2" filler would be installed; which is very common in the installation of kitchens; but Mr. [Member Name Removed] flatly refused. We asked him to let us finish the job but he continued with a bad attitude; so we had to leave the place even knowing that 80% of the work had been done and that we had only been paid for half, not to mention that we put our money to buy a better fitting cabinet. Clients who have worked with us know that we are honest people and that we always do a good job to make them feel satisfied. We always do our best and in this case we tried to finish the job but Mr. [Member Name Removed] did not allow it."
