Glen and Amy and our son in law, Nate are the only employees we have. All of our work is guaranteed and we are fully licensed and insured.

"We installed your gutters 2.5 years ago and you reached out NOW saying they are not pitched properly. We asked you to check your fascia to see if the wood was rotten and you went off the rails and told us that you were leaving us a bad review. We stand by our work!! In over 2 years a lot of things can change, especially if you have any roof leaks or some other reason that water could be rotting the fascia. You didn't tell us that your gutter doesn't drain all the way around your house. If the gutter didn't drain you would have had issues long before now. You told us that the gutter was so full of water that it was pulling the gutter down from the house. I explained to you that a full gutter will not pull down unless the wood behind it is rotten, even though your gutters were not "full" of water. There has to be a reason the gutter is coming away from the house in that spot. I should also point out that you haven't done any maintenance on your gutters in the over 2 years since installed. Your poor cleaning and maintenance of your gutters is not our fault. Your gutters are filthy and must be maintained if you want them to continue working properly! You threatened us with bad reviews and there is nothing we can do about it but just take it. Hopefully our previous and future customers know better and will take this with a grain of salt."

"I told you that you needed 7 inch gutter installed the day of the estimate but you insisted on the 6 inch. I also suggested adding diverter but you didn't want to pay for that. The gutters were installed properly. EVERY single aspect of this job was discussed with you before I did anything because I knew this was going to be a problem. I offered to add more wedges (even though there was a sufficient amount placed) but you didn't want me to and never contacted me again. You did not want me to go through the drip edge (which is why you are saying they are installed too low!). You also complained quite a bit about the job the roofer did on your home . You insisted on placing a downspout on a particular side of the house and I explained to you that the gutter would hold water. There were quite a few things on this job that you insisted on that I explained to you would be a bad idea but you were the customer so I did what you asked. I do not use Angie's List and am just now seeing this or I would have commented sooner. I have been hanging gutter for over 20 years and I have never gotten a complaint on the quality of my work. Some of the comments you have made indicate that you clearly do not know how to install gutter and do not know exactly what you are talking about. I will be sure to ride by and take a look to see what I can do to rectify this situation."

The service went as expected, professional and thorough. We got 3 estimates on this repair. Crown gutter quoted $220 on the repair (they were going to replace the front gutter because it was to much work to remove the old one and change the level which was the repair). That salesman tried to get us to sign the contract on the spot but I advised him that I was getting other estimates for the job. Express Seamless Gutters came and advised me that their minimum charge for any job is $295.00 so I said see you later. Then came Gutter Monkees. Glenn was very honest and personable. His estimate was $125, using our gutter which was in perfectly fine shape, welded and caulked the seams. Checked out the opposite side of the front gutter, at the high point of the house and rewelded and caulked that seam and reattached the down spout on the side of the house.

"I apologize for the miscommunication. We had a sudden family loss and were a bit out of commission for most of June and July. It could not be helped. We tried to keep up with the calls but were unable to keep up with every single one. Again, I apologize. We are back up and running again but saw quite a few F ratings from people who called us during this time period. Proud to say we have no F's from people we actually did work for."
