Gutters looked great, but come to find out they were not properly pitched. It had been 2 years so they refused to fix the problem or even address it. Sad, but buyer beware make sure to get on the roof before you let them leave the job.

"We installed your gutters 2.5 years ago and you reached out NOW saying they are not pitched properly. We asked you to check your fascia to see if the wood was rotten and you went off the rails and told us that you were leaving us a bad review. We stand by our work!! In over 2 years a lot of things can change, especially if you have any roof leaks or some other reason that water could be rotting the fascia. You didn't tell us that your gutter doesn't drain all the way around your house. If the gutter didn't drain you would have had issues long before now. You told us that the gutter was so full of water that it was pulling the gutter down from the house. I explained to you that a full gutter will not pull down unless the wood behind it is rotten, even though your gutters were not "full" of water. There has to be a reason the gutter is coming away from the house in that spot. I should also point out that you haven't done any maintenance on your gutters in the over 2 years since installed. Your poor cleaning and maintenance of your gutters is not our fault. Your gutters are filthy and must be maintained if you want them to continue working properly! You threatened us with bad reviews and there is nothing we can do about it but just take it. Hopefully our previous and future customers know better and will take this with a grain of salt."

Horrible. There so many things wrong with this install I am not sure where to start. Bottom line is I have an unacceptable level of WATER OVERSHOOT (arching) over the edge of the gutters, even with light showers. It is an undisputable fact, I have photos (attached), video, and it is easily duplicated by shooting a garden hose up on the roof. My house is built on a mound and anyone can see where the grass and dirt are washing away due to the overshoot. It is a real mess! There are several technical issues as to why this is occurring which I will not go into detail. But bottom line THE GUTTER WAS INSTALLED TOO LOW due to what I mostly believe were the wrong style hangars used along other reasons. I only have 2 or less than 2 inches of the 6 inch gutter width to catch the water, not enough (see photo) for a metal roof. Also the wedges were not installed correctly, the wedges were not installed at every hangar, the hangars were not installed through wedge holes as they were designed, the back of the gutter where the hangar screws into the fascia board were not sealed, big wavy gaps between the back gutter wall and the fascia board, and 1/2 inch of water remaining in parts of the gutter due to low spots. It's a real third world low quality install. Its ridiculous. It all has to come down and be re-hung. BEWARE!!

"I told you that you needed 7 inch gutter installed the day of the estimate but you insisted on the 6 inch. I also suggested adding diverter but you didn't want to pay for that. The gutters were installed properly. EVERY single aspect of this job was discussed with you before I did anything because I knew this was going to be a problem. I offered to add more wedges (even though there was a sufficient amount placed) but you didn't want me to and never contacted me again. You did not want me to go through the drip edge (which is why you are saying they are installed too low!). You also complained quite a bit about the job the roofer did on your home . You insisted on placing a downspout on a particular side of the house and I explained to you that the gutter would hold water. There were quite a few things on this job that you insisted on that I explained to you would be a bad idea but you were the customer so I did what you asked. I do not use Angie's List and am just now seeing this or I would have commented sooner. I have been hanging gutter for over 20 years and I have never gotten a complaint on the quality of my work. Some of the comments you have made indicate that you clearly do not know how to install gutter and do not know exactly what you are talking about. I will be sure to ride by and take a look to see what I can do to rectify this situation."

They cleaned all gutters, fixed all downspouts and rerouted one downspout. The job was done on time at the cost quoted and all work was excellent. I would highly recommend.

Glenn is wonderful. He had actually given me a quote almost a year ago and every time we wanted to get the gutters something would come up. So when we got our taxes back I called him up and he said he would honor the quote. I had also gotten a quote from a company and Gutter Monkeys was still cheaper even with their Angie's List discount. I was very happy and satisfied with the work Glenn did. I would also recommend him and use him again!

The service went as expected, professional and thorough. We got 3 estimates on this repair. Crown gutter quoted $220 on the repair (they were going to replace the front gutter because it was to much work to remove the old one and change the level which was the repair). That salesman tried to get us to sign the contract on the spot but I advised him that I was getting other estimates for the job. Express Seamless Gutters came and advised me that their minimum charge for any job is $295.00 so I said see you later. Then came Gutter Monkees. Glenn was very honest and personable. His estimate was $125, using our gutter which was in perfectly fine shape, welded and caulked the seams. Checked out the opposite side of the front gutter, at the high point of the house and rewelded and caulked that seam and reattached the down spout on the side of the house.

Glenn installed gutters on my entire house and did a neat and professional job. I had a concern a few days after the install where the down spout from my first floor was going to the roof of my patio. Glenn came out 2 days later and re-routed the down spout to the ground, instead of the patio roof. He did this at no additional cost. I would recommend Glenn and use his company again.

Called for an estimate. An appointment was scheduled and Glen came on time as planned. He explained the process of installation and what options were available. He was made aware of the home owners association requirements and abided by them. He also provided a large color palette to match the gutter color to the house paint. There was one section of the house which proved tricky as the wooden trellis interfered with gutter placement. Glen provided several solutions to this problem and checked similar models with gutters in the development. He measured the entire parameter of the house and provided a written estimate on the cost. It is obvious that Glen is very knowledgeable about gutters and their installation. I felt the estimate was reasonable and called to schedule installation. Installation date was scheduled at my convenience. Glen and his assistant arrived as scheduled and completed the job accurately and timely. He removed any waste and left the job as he found it. I was very pleased with all aspects of this job and would highly recommend Glen to anyone seeking gutter installation or repair.

We learned of Gutter Monkeys from Angie's List and have used them now for 3 years to clean our gutters. Glen is friendly, prompt and professional, and the price is fair. The only problem we have ever encountered with them is getting a call back when you call to schedule a cleaning. It usually takes at least a week (once, even longer). Summer is probably their busiest time, so I understand having to wait to actually have them clean the gutters; waiting for days or weeks to get a call back to just get on the schedule? Don't understand that one as much.

Gutter Monkeys was the only company out of the three we called that even returned our phone call. Glen came out promptly and my husband showed him the areas of concern. He was able to match the color of the trim and on the home as well. The installation went well. We are now waiting for it to rain.
