I have a Liftmaster opener and General is a Liftmaster dealer, so I chose them to replace my broken spring in case I someday need service on my opener. They gave me same day service. They gave me a range of $180-$240 over the phone and their tech charged me I think $210 for the spring, which is more than fair. This is a potentially dangerous job you do not want to try yourself. While here, he also suggested that I replace the rollers. I had a number of wobbly rollers where the internal ball bearings were shot. He quoted me $95 for that, which I thought was a little high because this is a job I can do myself. But since he was here and considering I thought spring cost was fair, I said OK. It has been maybe 2 weeks now and everything is still working fine. I will use them again and recommend them

We chose them because they were on Angie's List and we thought they did a fine job when they were here. They offered a cash discount if we paid cash, which seemed a little unusual. We wanted a receipt and all, so we used a credit card. This seemed a bit odd. Otherwise, he did a good job when he was here.

They fixed one thing for us, and when something else went wrong, they responded within two hours of my call. They finished it quickly and professionally, and they explained everything so I could understand it. Their prices were reasonable, even for emergency calls, and I have been extremely happy with them.
