Horrible experience. I ended up having to hire my own carpenters to fix the doors that I bought from them. $10,000 spent on doors and Randy wouldn't return my call or respond to my emails. Run fast and far from this place. Here is a list of what went wrong - it's pretty sad... • 4 doors came completely damaged. Two were sent for repair and were damaged AGAIN on delivery. I ended up having to pay my own carpenters to fix the doors. • I never received the door that I ordered for the linen closet. I ended up making my own door out of cabinet material. • None of the doors came with roller catches or even the cutout for them. We had to cut the tops of the doors and install. • My pivot hardware was never installed in the one door even though I was charged for it. Then the hardware was lost and finally after many calls/emails/texts it was found and delivered back to me. Still never installed in the door and no cutout from the factory. I had to do all of this. • 2 of the doors came warped. • Almost half of the screws were missing from the hinges. When I inquired about it – I was told that you guys ran out of screws, so you put in as many as you had. I ended up having to buy my own and install them. • A couple doors have both gold and silver colored hinges on the same door which is weird. I ended up swapping for the same color/matching hinges. • One door was made with the incorrect swing. • More than half of the doorstop was installed backwards. On the same door (out of 3 stops) you might have two that have the rounded edge showing and one that has the 90-degree edge showing. It was all over the place. I don’t think a single door had all of the stops in the same direction. • 2 doors had the incorrect jamb size. We had to custom make our own jambs on-site.

Not good at all. Almost double in price compared to other companies.

From the moment we stepped into the showroom to find and replace our new homes 25+ year old doors, we knew we came to the right place.  Everyone was knowledgeable, professional and listened to our needs.  They have a wide variety of Doors to choose from in their showroom.  The entire process of quoting, measuring and the installing the doors was painless!  Every question we had was answered and staff was always pleasant and professional.  If you are in the market for doors, LOOK NO FURTHER, First Impression will make the process easy!  Their name says it all, they make an excellent First Impression and so do their doors!  We are simply thrilled with our new doors, no more aged, cracking and pealing doors!  This is a reputable company, with an excellent and organized staff to help you with all your needs.

All's well that ends well. We would probably use them again. We ordered the door in late August and it was installed mid October. When ordering the door, I mentioned obvious things like we wanted an in-swinging door, and the order form didn't even have a place to note such an obvious specification.
I had to call First Impressions numerous times to get responses to questions, they didn't return my calls promptly. It took a couple weeks longer than expected to get the door installed.
When the door arrived there was obvious sign of damage which had been patched. I was just happy to get the door installed before Thanksgiving house guests arrived in town, so didn't say anything at the time, but then later decided we really shouldn't pay full price for a door that wasn't perfect. The folks at First Impressions were very considerate about it, but I don't know why they didn't see the damage (one person said she was aware of the damage and that someone at their shop had patched it. But she never mentioned it to us, and Randy (the manager?) said he wasn't aware of the damage until I sent him photos.) Since it didn't affect the function of the door, and after the door was painted it is difficult to see the patch unless you look hard, I suggested they give us a refund rather than go through the trouble of ordering another door. They agreed to that.
The only other problem, or less than ideal situation, is that I wish First Impressions had given us an education about the options for locks before we purchased and had it installed. Now we know we would have preferred a deadbolt with a security strike plate (the box which the bolt goes into is encapsulated, rather than just an opening into the frame of the door.) It seemed the salesmen at First Impressions didn't know that much about the different kinds of locks other than the style and appearance. No explanation was given about options for security. Now we have to get a handy man to replace the strike plate with what we want, but we shouldn't have had to do that.
Other than that, everyone at First Impressions was very friendly and we are happy with our door. Their painting contractor did an excellent job and we had him also paint the car port.

better It seemed like Angie's list was a new concept for them. The salesmen were a little confused as to what to do with the Angie list promotion. It took a little more time for the work to be done than I expected and they charged me an extra $75 for a permit that I could have gotten myself on top of the $125 that that the city charged. Overall, they did a good job, but they need better customer service.

Glass inserts were custom ordered so it took about six weeks for the glass to arrive. Once in, installation went without a hitch. My toddlers were fascinated with the process and the guys were professional and courteous. My doors are beautiful!!!

They replace a 40+ year old doorwith a fiberglass door with impact windows.  I wanted to use my present Medco lock but found the lock no longer fit the new door. So the installers came back later in the day to install the new Medco lock I purchased.

We were really "impressed" with this company. The doors and windows were nicely displayed in the showroom. After making our choice, they took care of everything! There is a massive amount of paperwork (i.e. permits) involved in purchasing a new front door. Randy (the owner), Jim (sales) and Robert (install) provided excellent customer service. Well worth the drive from Boca! The door is a stand-out!
We are now in the process of installing impact windows. Of course, First Impressions is who we called. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

They were a subcontractor. They were absolutely fine and sent somebody out right away. The doors are in and they are great. Their price was comparable. We had one little glitch, but in the end they made it all right. They fixed the problem immediately and pursued it to the end to get it done correctly.

Very nice and professional estimate/follow-up/bidding with high pricing. Got better deal elsewhere.

When First Impression came to measure and quote the replacement, I was surprised when I was told they did not need replacement. Instead he reccomened a supplier that could remove the doors, replace all the wheels and hardware and rescreen the sliding screens on the doors. I called that supplier and had the work performed withun a week. The bothe doors now slide with the use of one finger and the cost was about 20% of a new door. First Impression could have replaced my door and I would have not hads the knowledge to object. Although First Impresswion did no actual work for me, the saved me approximately $4000.00 by being an honest customer service oriented vendor.

I live in Florida and my wooden front door was rotting and deteriorated to the point of failure. I contacted First impressions and they came to my home to examine the problem. They recommened a fiberglass door. I was not aware that fiberglass was available. They presented a fiberglass door with a design that was copmplementary to our home. I obtained two additional quotes from two othe vendors. I chose first impression and the door was ordered. When they received the door, they called to schedule an installation date and time. The arrived on time and completed the installation in 3 hours and cleaned the workarea completely. I now have a door that has received many complements and do not have to worry about this door rotting and deteriorating.

I called first impression and asked if they provided the services I required. When they said they did, I went to their business site to be sure that they were truly a going concern. I was impressed with their business site. They had a small but complete showroom that represented the full line of products that they prvided. We picked the appropriate products and after they visited my home to make the proper measurements, I was given a quote. I did the same with two other suppliers and chose First Impresswion to do the work The work was done very professionally and in the time frame promised. I was very pleased with the results and the manner in which the work was performed.
