I would highly recommend this company. Mike and Elena worked together to help move the the fence permit through the county. Upon approval Mike worked with me to quickly install the fence. Very professional and nice family company.

Once permitted and HOA had approved the project, construction began approximately one week later. Was very happy with the turn around and timeframe during which the actual work took place.

They are excellent. They were reasonable and the best price. They were superior. It was something I needed and they came back and did it. I saw that one of the railings was sort of off. I called and they did come with no problem. They are reliable. Getting that fence up was the number one priority for me. I told them that one part was still low and I told them that alligators could get under there, so they put a piece there also. I was very happy with their job, 100%. They told me when they were coming, and they came just about when they said they were coming.

We originally spoke with a sales guy called Paul; this one told us that the fence was $1150, and the price included the permits to the building department and that project will take 4-6 weeks; I thought was long time for such a small project, their excuse was that they depended on the approval of the Palm Beach building department. 
We decided to go with them because they have installed most of the fences in our community; but what a nightmare was waiting to us.
1. When they request the survey I sent them a high quality PDF file; they said that it was a picture and reject the survey several times; I had to scan the survey again in the lowest quality possible and then they finally accepted the bad quality PDF.
2. They sent me the contract and all documentation needed to start the project; I emailed the documentation back to them and called them to confirm if they needed anything else; they said everything was ok. A week later they called me to say that I did not sign one of the documents; COME ON!!!!!  I had to travel to their office and sign and ASK THEM again if all the documentation was completed; guess what they said; "Yes, it's"; they 
3. 3 weeks later, another surprise; a call from them to ask me that the building department denied the permit because there is no approval from the HOA. So you have done 90+% of the fences in my community and you don't ask me to get the HOA approval when I submit the papers to you!!!! But Elena said that the permit was ready for pick up at the building department once we submit the HOA approval. You know a what speed some HOAs work, so wait and wait until I finally got the HOA approval; I sent them and hoped that next week the permit was issued.
4.  2 weeks later (we are in our 5-6 week), they called me to say that the building department is not approving the fence because there is a tree in the path of the fence... Well, obviously the plan was submitting incorrect to the building department, I had to step up and call myself and contact the employee from the building department to calrify the issue because Fecnce Crafters was doing NOTHING.  after 3 days calling by phone, sending emails, and leaving voice mails, the guy from the building department called me and explained to me why the permit was not approved. VEREDICT: The plan was submitting incorrect; I had to send pictures where the fence was going to be and finally got the permit approved.  The only compensation they gave me was to upgrade gate for a bigger one. One foot bigger.
6.  At the 8th week finally the fence was installed, but another surprise; the invoice for the remaining balance had a charge for "Permit Fee". WTH is that; wasn't supposed to be everything included, I spoke with Mike and he said that they charge exactly what they paid to the building department, correction the overcharge you, so do your home work and check online how much they really paid; once I asked for proof, they corrected the amount. 

I DID NOT HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM, MAY BE I WASN'T LUCKY!!!!

Too many skill-less people working together. I DO NOT RECOMMEND FENCE CRAFTERS TO ANYBODY.

Fence replacement went well. Work was completed as agreed to, appearance and quality excellent. Professional crew, excellent cleanup and haul away of old fence. Project completed mid August. End of September there is a problem with gate latch. Now phone calls have not been returned, gate latch not fixed, my rating of this company has dropped due to lack of response and follow up.

We recently had a fence installed by Fence Crafters and we are very happy with the results. We had gotten several quotes in the process and decided to go with FC. We had black aluminum fencing installed as well as black chain link. The installation was over 2 days with 2 crews that were very proficient with each type of fence they were installing. Both teams worked hard and were meticulous along the way. I am very particular when it comes to clean lines and work and they did not disappoint. Edgar and Jodie were fantastic and Dan's team finished up the job with the chain link. The price was very competitive and reasonable when compared to the other quotes. The fence looks great, the work was done well and we are happy with the finished product. Just waiting on the inspector for approval to wrap up this project. I would recommend Fence Crafters if you're looking for fencing done the right way at a good price.

Fence Crafters did a good job installing a black aluminum fence around my property and for a good price too. The workers were neat and punctual. They made several mistakes during the install, all of which were remedied to my satisfaction. Would use them again in the future!

From the time we met Paul from Sales we were in good hands. Loretta at the office kept us updated throughout the permit process, and weeks later Mike showed up with our fence.The fence looks fantastic! Mike and his assistant did a wonderful job. They are the true professionals. Clara called us after fence was installed to let us know of a delay from the City inspector.

We got 2 fence companies to give estmates.  The one gave us an estimate right away, I heard nothing from Fence Crafters.  I had to remind them, and they did give us the estimate.  I opted to go with FC as I didn't care for the other company and trying to sell us a deal (unclaimed) gate that was more than what FC quoted for new gate.  That and the Angie's List reviews for FC.  We did it with permit, which always delays things here.  I have heard some contractors will work without permit, but FC is not one of them.  I was more confortable getting the permet anyway.  The fence went up first - they did a great job. It greatly improved our side yard, which bordered my neighbor's dog pen for multiple dogs.  We don't look like the SPCA anymore.  The gate was next.  When it was all said and done, the gate would not stay level when you rolled it closed.  The way a cantilever works, it should have.  It was a very long gate, and we complained about the closure issue.  After some debate with the company, thye made it right by adding a small wheel to the end, which they painted white to match the gate.  They even poured a little concrete pad for it to roll on, as driveway was not complete width of opening.  This was outside of the contract, but they went out of their way to make it right.  They did not always come on the day they said they would, but did come within a few days of it.  We have had lots of rain this year and it has delayed work.  In the end, we are very satisfied with the work.

The sales person was very professional. He said it would be about two months to get the permits. It was. When they got all the permitting done, they immediately started installation.
The two men who did the installation, worked quickly and did a great job. They were neat and efficient.
The finished product is outstanding. 
I'd recommend Fence Crafters in a heartbeat.
    

The service was mediocre at best. We are still trying to have them do repairs.

Overall went well.  I called back at end of day once I noticed the fence could open inward (but not outward) even with a padlock, they came the next day and fixed to my specifications. I would use them again.

Price was on the high side.
Quality of work was really great, we are really happy with our new fence.
There was an issue with the original measurments that was not picked up until the installation crew were onsite and immediately said that they were short of fence by 5'. Luckily there was material available to rectify the problem and the extra cost was eventually waived.  There was never an appology for this error and the guy in the office seemed more annoyed that his crew would need to drive back to the shop to get the extra material.
Communication with the office could be better.  I waited several weeks after the permit was issued, before I called to enquire when the installation would be, I was told "next week. we will call you".  Next week came and went.  The following week they called and with no notice wanted to do the installation the next day and seemed annoyed that this didn't fit with my schedule. 
In my experience (and several of the reviews in this site) - The customer doesn't seem to be right in the case of this company, but as they continue to post on this site, they have been in business for over 20 years, so they must be doing something right (paraphrased)
If you do use this company, make sure you get a fully detailed quote, including price per linear feet. It seems very hard to get this information from them with out pushing for it.

Response for someone to come and give me a quote to replace the existing fence was almost instantaneous and it was complete and thorough and in my hand before the person left the property.

I did have one other fence company give me a quote on the fence, which was 16% less than FC's quote, but when they were willing to meet the price of the other company I gave the job to FC.

The installation went quickly, amazingly so. It was completed in 2 days and it was approximately 170 linear feet of shadowbox fence with three gates. Materials and labor were warrantied for a year.

Fast forward 6 months, the time I was told to let the wood cure before I painted it. Many of the slats had bowed at the bottom, curving to varying degrees. Also, the gates, which had operated so easily at initial install were now difficult to open. I was told that the wooden slats warping was not unusual and that someone would come out to look. This took several calls to accomplish and, instead of someone coming to assess the work that needed to be done, I was told to use a marker to place an X on each board that I wanted replaced. Shortly after that, they sent a crew out to replace those slats and adjust the gates, which did help but did not return them to the state that they were initially.

Now, over a year later, one gate requires a lot of effort to open and shut and several other slats have warped, which I was told would not happen after the first six months of curing. It remains to be seen how the fence holds up in a hurricane, something I hope to never have to find out.

So, FC was quick to respond with an estimate, willing to lower their price to get the job and installed the fence quick as a bunny. It's the warranty work that was somewhat disappointing, especially since they had set the bar pretty high when trying to get my business.

I hired Fence Crafters the day after I was given the estimate10/9/12. Thier estimator was overly optimistic on the time frame to actually perform the work. The estimator told us that the fence would be done in 3-4 weeks. When I contacted the office to see what the hold up was after 5 weeks I was told they had just recieved the permit and I was scheduled at that point. They showed up on Wednesday and removed and replaced 100 feet of fence. As I requested my property was kept secure for my dogs. Fence Crafters then returned the following 2 days and replaced the remaining fencing keeping my property secure throughout the entire process. The quality of the work and thier ability to fence difficult areas is to be commended. They took care of some existing issues to make the new fence better than I expected. My only complaint is that the estimator most likely did not communicate his optimistic time frames with thier office. Fence Crafters performed my work professionally and quickly once permitting was received. You can hire cheaper contractors but if you are looking for a quality job I recommend Fence Crafters.

Service representative responded immediately.  Came prepared to give an estimate.  Took his time to answer questions. He was extremely knowledgeable in all kinds of fencing and its installation, as well as required permits, etc. The only downside
Rep. not comfortable with spelling out individual  breakdown of charges: per foot charge,
post charges, gate charges, labor etc.  Gave a price based on the overall project.  We signed a contract same day upon which 50% deposit is required.  We mentioned we were in a rush.  No estimated date of completion was stated on contract.  After three weeks we contacted office and were told they have obtained the permits (2 wooks ago) and that we were on the schedule for the following week.  I called the following week and spoke to the manager who said we we scheduled for the following Monday.  Monday came and I did not receive a call.  I felt that I should have been called and provided with a status.  Throughout the entire time (5 weeks), either I or my husband had to call to find out what was going on.  After speaking to the manager, he it seems had difficulty understanding why we were concerned with the total lack of communication and why the job wasn't completed.  When he saw we were upset, he sent a team out to complete the job on Wednesday.  The men who came out were very hardworking, friendly and kept us informed throughout..  They completed the job in two days.  The workers did a GREAT JOB!   if I were to use them again, I would press for an approprimate completion date on the contract and ask that they keep me informed from time to time.  Because of Angie's List, I felt comfortable hiring them so I did not initially press on certain issues initiall y. Once they finally came to do the work- they were punctual and as I stated did a GREAT job!

Overall it went great! I needed the fence in by a specific date and Fence Crafters was able to work with me and meet that date. Although the county took its time to approve the permit, fence crafters worked hard. Everyone in the office and in sales is really nice and I highly recommend using this company over anyone else.

I like them. They were very prompt in giving me a quote and they did great work. The price was  best of the quotes I got. Because we were building a pool, so if we needed it to be done on the pool builder schedule and he did a great job with that, he worked with the pool builder. They did a good job. I have not had any problems with them.
