In October 2012, Brian Brown, owner of the business currently called BB Aluminum and Screen, built a large lanai with an aluminum roof attached to our townhouse (approx. cost $12,000).  Subsequently we had several leaks in the aluminum roof of the structure which he returned in an attempt to fix them.  In the March/April 2013, he did additional work, including flashing and caulking, in still another attempt to fix the leaks. We paid him an additional $500 for this work and he guaranteed it for two years.  Within that warranty period we had roof leaks in the lanai.  In Jan. - Mar. 2015, before we returned in April for our summer home in Massachusetts, we were in touch with him on multiple occasions about getting the leaks fixed.  He repeatedly promised to take care of the leaks before we left, setting weekend dates when his crew would fix them.  Those dates would pass without anyone showing; we would call him; he would make a new promise; and the cycle would repeat itself.
He did not take care of the leaks before we left for Massachusetts, so we had to cover all the non-moveable furniture in the lanai with tarps and elevate them off the floor.  During the summer rainy season the roof continued leaking and relatives in the area who were checking our townhouse while we were in Massachusetts had to mop up he water from the leaks on the floor.
When we returned to Florida in November we repeatedly called Brian Brown or his receptionist at his business about fixing the leaks.  We received assurances that this would happen, but it never did.  Every time it showers, we have had to cover furniture in the room with tarps and use a shop vac afterwards to clean up the water.
