For seven years I paid this company to service my a/c unit. In 7 years, I paid over $7,000 to them to replace major components and keep the units running. After 7 years, at the peak of summer, the unit stopped working, just before Labor Day weekend. The tech came out and said the ductwork needed cleaning and it would cost $550. But since he couldn't do that then, I had to wait a week. In the meantime, I called another company. They came out the next day and said the ductwork was fine: one of the compressors was shot. I had to replace the entire system at an additional cost of $6,000. The whole system was improperly installed and maintained. In addition, my electric bill ran $565 a month in the summer. After replacing the system, my electric bill has been cut by 2/3 and it works very well. To make matters worse, when I refused to pay the $79 service call for the wrong diagnosis and no repair, they sent me to a collection agency without even trying to listen to my story. Then (this is the best part) - after I paid the collection agency, they sent me another past due notice! I strongly recommend you avoid this company if you have a/c in south Florida.
