CBJ Tile Removal

Please do NOT hire this guy! Joe Hernandez took my deposit ! Left damage to my place and took off! He chipped 7 tiles, he left an absolute mess with the little grout he did do! I came home thinking to see him working and instead he took his tools and some of my belongings and disappeared ! I filed a police report and am definitely going to sue! All of his reviews have to be from family cause no way this guy should be in business! The money Joe has cost me is insane! Not to mention him stealing from me! I gave him the opportunity to give me back my belongings and my money and call it a day .. He wasn’t even man enough to respond! Don’t let his I go to Christ Fellowship talk get you! The pictures are of just some of the damage he left me with ! Won’t let me upload all the photos I have. My photos are dated and time stamped. He told the guy the recommended him to me that my place was like this ! He won’t answer my calls but told this guy that crap!

This vendor advertises dustless machine to remove the tile. This was not the case and they used a jackhammer. The tile vendor charged an additional $100 to smooth the floors. They did remove all tile demo, removed the kitchen cabinets and vanities from the house. And removed kitchen appliances.

showed up on time...did what he said he was going to do...and left with a good clean up. Did the job really fast!

Joe came out gave us an estimate on removing the tile, prices he gave included removing the tile only and removing tile and laying floor. He worked around our schedules, very accomodating. He covered every thing with plastic prior to starting the removal process, although we had dust, it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been. He also removed the tile and disposed of it. The job took about 3 days from start to finish. He removed the tile one day, came back to lay the wood floor, then returned again to place the transition pieces. It went very quickly....and it looks beautiful!
