A Man With A Mower

Attention: this company is now called Green With Envy. I hired Man With a Mower several months ago. The company changed its name to Green With Envy a few months ago. It started out good but I had to pester him to trim my hedges . Over several months I had to continue to call to remind him about the trimming. Finally in August of 2014, my from yard was so overgrown it was an embarrassment. I left him a voice message to remind him about the trimming and that my hedges in the back yard were 8 feet high. He did not return my call. My ficus hedges in the back yard are only allowed to be 6 feet per the HOA regulations. He knew this for several months as we discussed it. Just prior to August, he trimmed the ficus hedges on the sides of my home and did not trim the backyard. I called him again and left him a message. He did not return my call again. Finally at the end of August, I hired someone else. I called again to leave him a message that the end of August would be by last payment to him. He never called back. The price included trimming hedges as needed. I did not know when I hired him that I would have to pester him to do what I was paying him to do. By the time I changed to another company, my backyard hedges were nearly 9 feet high. He was not doing what he was paid to do so it ended up that towards the end of the relationship, I was not getting what I paid for.

Terry started out by changing his co name to Green with envy.
Terry promised to do whole yard but failed to do the work agreed to, and never argued just didn't do the work charged me $260 + $30
And only cut the gras three times, did not t rim hedges and bushes or weed as requested. But was very pleasant and seamed to know i was about to fire him. Gave no argument.

I called 4 providers from Angie's list. One never returned my call, one said I was too far away (8 miles!), the third said it was too small of a job. Terry was very responsive and happy to drive over and give me a quote. We discussed a few options, and decided on the job. When the day came to do the service, Terry and one other employee showed up. They went right to work and did a good job. I'd have no issues using him again in the future.

Terry wasnt there the day I got home from work and seen the large Hedge in my back yard. I had previously walked the yard with Terry and told him what height I wanted the hedge at. The guy working was very pleased with his work and had 2 large bags with trimmings and leaves from the hedge and then all the rest of the trimmings (an Additional 2 Big Brute trash cans of mine) Piled in the corner by my fence.(I put the rest of trimmings in My Trashcans)The Helper told me Terry would be by the next day to pick up the trimmings. Never saw Terry, I ended up 2 days later picking up the trimmings putting into my trash cans and carrying out to road for trash Pickup. Still no word from Terry.
Terry called me on Monday and was telling me he was going to have to raise his price due to the work on my Yard which I knew he had under-bid the job and I would have been willing to negotiate a price with him, But the minute I told him I was not Happy with the height of the hedge he went off on me hollering, cussing and telling me I didn't know what I was talking about and he has the Best guy in Palm Beach County working for him and then Threatened me if I did not pay my bill he would Round Up my yard. The language used was Very Unprofessional, I hung up.
Then he texted me saying that I had better pay my bill or Else, I won't use the language in the Text but I still have it on my phone. I payed my bill as I had agreed upon and have not spoken to him Since. His Business is now called
Green with Envy Lawn Care, LLC
I would not recommend this Guy to Anyone, he is Very Unprofessional !
My yard was cut twice so it cost me 55.00 dollars a cut Ridiculous.

The lawn company I was using did a good job but the owners were
extremely rude and expected payment at the beginning of the service
month. After using them for three months I decided to move on and
called Terry based on recommendations on Angie's list. I am so glad
that I did. He is very responsive, professional and a nice guy. His
rates are perfect too.Law

My son had gone out of town for a month and I let the yard get away - just ONE MORE WEEK~!!! WE would do the yard routinely, taking turns to make it easier. When my son traveled, I didn't stay on it well and it got DEEP. I gave up and called Terry - finding his ad which sounded solid.
Terry responded quickly. Met with me at the house quickly - the next morning. The appointment was set for the next day and - THERE HE WAS!!! They worked great, efficiently, quickly and did such a better job than expected. The agreement was reached with services rendered weekly until no longer needed - no contract or obligation.
Terry and his partner worked well for us. There were some issues with getting the riding mower behind our pool. Terry adapted and did that part of the yard with a push mower. Unheard of down here. :)
When my son returned, we decided to give it a whirl again and no longer use Terry. He is in my phone - on my speed dial - the FIRST and ONLY person I will call to work on my yard.

Terry is great. I emailed him through the Angie's List website for an estimate. He emailed me back the same day and came by to see my yard within two days. He is currently cutting, edging, trimming, mowing, and removing all associated debris my yard on a regular basis. He comes once a week and I pay 100.00 per month. He is courteous, professional, and dependable.

He is absolutely amazing, punctual, friendly, down to earth. He will fix anything. He is incredible.
