Florida Breeze

We have lived in our home for 2 years where Florida Breeze handled the installation of the HVAC system. This past May, we lost all cooling in the house. We called them out to service and repair, which was initially thought as a leak in the evaporator coil and accumulator. While our units were warrantied, we were charged $1100 for labor. Well, after a 9(!!) hour day of work from their technician not completely knowing the problem and losing cooling within the very next day, additional visits from two more techs “correctly” diagnosed the problem as a leak in the underground chase line. I was told by their service manager that it would be an additional $2300 for repairs, after a 10 percent discount for the inconvenience, which feels like a disrespectful slap to the face. I am completely unsatisfied and beside myself that they are not more accountable. After almost two months of no AC in the summer, we are now with another company who are treating us with more respect and supplying fair quotes. After hearing their tech’s horror stories from other former clients of Florida Breeze and talking with friends who used Florida Breeze in the past, I am no longer surprised what kind of business they are.

Workers were prompt, polite and worked until the job was done. They cleaned up and hauled everything away. And the company had the best price of several that provided quotes.

Technician came and repaired the system in less than an hour of my call, and it was on the morning of the 4th of July. Naturally, holiday rates applied, but I was pleased with the service.

Very well. Responded quickly, kept appointment, installed high quality equipment, left work site very clean.

The estimator was the most professional, detailed, and honest of the 3 companies that quoted my job. Once hired, the work crew was wide open at my home all day. Working hard, no slackers! The workmanship was amazing. The new system made my old heat pump installation, look like flunkies had built my home.

They went Above and Beyond what they said they would do! We are very pleased about the cleanup too! We got a new AC that will save us $$$! Thank you Florida Breeze!

It was wonderful when they did the job, but their after-service stinks. I had a problem a few months later, and I ended up throwing their service out of my house. The quality of their initial work was wonderful but it is their service after the work that I am complaining about.

Their price was under everybody else's. So, I decided to use them. They sent a guy out and I talked to them. Everybody else was around $4000 and they were like $3067. I told my best friend who was having air conditioning problems. My friend's air conditioning wasn't that old, but I recommended Florida Breeze to him. He may have used them for service. I would highly recommend them to anybody. I don't know how their service is, but they did a good job for me with the complete unit. I went the extra step to call the company and I said thanks to them. There were two guys who came and installed the unit. The installation wasn't too tough because I used the same brand that I had. So, they came in; one did the outside and one did the inside. They were in and out of here in three hours and everything has worked perfectly since. They said they would be here for about 4 hours, but they didn't have to and everything fit where it was supposed to fit. I didn't go and order something strange. I had the air and heat that was in here previously that I had put in when I bought the house which was in 1999. They did a superb job as far as I am concerned. I was out there watching them inside and out. They answered the questions I had. The guys couldn't have been better. My lawn mower was locked up and I couldn't break it loose. Then the guy came over and got it off for me. He saw me when he was taking some stuff back and forth from the truck. He stopped and asked me if I needed a hand. He worked on it and got it loose and went back to his work. Their price was the best price I got from anybody. The next best price was $440 higher. So, I couldn't beat the price. I priced the exact same equipment and nobody was under $3600. There was just one company that quoted $3587. I never had to call them for anything. They were here exactly when they said they would be here. I would definitely use their services in the future too.
