We just moved from PA, unloaded 2 trucks on Thursday, headed to DMV at 2 pm Friday, and called alarm specialists to ask them to have our security system setup by close of business Saturday! Oh by the way there will be no one home until we finished at the DMV, and who knows how long that will take. They agreed to meet me at whatever time. We left the DMV at 5 pm and met them at our home at 5:30. The system was previously ADT. They began the process and found that there was a short somewhere and had to run a hard wire from one side of the home to the other. They ran the wires through the wall, not stapled to the outside of the wall, and through the attic in a way that anyone going into the attic would not even know the line was in place. They did not string the line over existing ductwork! Like others may have for convienence. In 2 hours the system was fully operational and then they spent 20 minutes training the whole family! All I can is is WOW. NO OTHER COMPANY WOULD HAVE MET OUR NEEDS and time constraints. Please call Alarm Specialists and tell them Dave sent you. Thanks Dave and Dave you made our day! • Excellent  service and very pleased with every aspect of the initial and installation process.  Had questions about a couple issues which were answered quickly . System definitely works, and response time was surprisingly quick!

Had a problem with original wireless radio. Had to order new radio and it corrected problem.

Dave was great with us explaining the options and products that were available. We asked the system be installed before we left town which certainly was asking a lot and only giving him a couple of days to do our whole house. Dave said he would get it done and his installer called the same day to schedule the install in two days. We met Tom, the installer two days later and I can truly say he was a pleasure to have in our home. He worked diligently, he answered any questions, and when i had an add on he got it handled and finished the job right on time. Tom's level of professionalism was absolutely great and his desire to make sure we were pleased is an asset to Alarm Specialist. We love our new system and love that we can see all events from our smart phones. These guys are highly rated for a reason, we are beyond pleased.

We spent quite some time shopping around before we decided with Dave and his Team at Alarm Specialist.  They came several times, talked options and were very patient - knowing this was an investment for us.  When we decided to establish a contract, he took his time and make sure we understood all aspects of the contract, what we owned and what would be installed.  After considering all the options, we even went with an upgrade that we are very happy we did.
Install price was competitive with other options we looked at and the monthly monitoring fee slightly lower.
Install was all done in a day and looks very professional.  I was concerned, as appearance in the store is important.  Most sites are hardwired and he was able to to work directly into our existing equipment board and power supplies.
Use of the system is very easy and I really like the web site at alarm.com.  To be honest, I think it is easier that ADT's site (which is what we currently have for our home).
Highly recommended for any home or business.

Have been able to cut down on vandalism

They were installed approximately a year ago.  One of them started to act up, so Alarm Specialist immediately sent over a technician to fix it for free, and we haven't had any issues since then.

Very good service and everything is an improvement over our old system.  Had a small glitch which they fixed quickly at no additional cost.  My go to company for my home alarm.

They were very responsive and easy to use.  I would highly recommend them.

We have been with  'Alarm Specialist' from Dec of 2010  after 'ADT' messed up unbelievably for trusting them with our lives, home & business for over 5yrs. Alarm Specialist covers our home & business security. They have responded within seconds & followed the necessary protocol every time they receive a signal either from home or business regardless of the time. They have been very friendly & reliable unlike ADT. One time when we had an unfortunate burglary incident in early  2011, Alarm Specialist notified us & the local cops within seconds of receiving the motion sensor & glass break signal. The cops showed up within minutes. Even though we had some property damage, the alarm sound/siren was so loud that it scared the burglary away without any actual theft. Alarm specialist gave us a detailed report of which glass & what time the glass broke, what time & which motion sensor detected the first movement & what time the siren went off which perfectly matched with our security cameras.. That's the kind of service you need. So far, we have been happy with them. I would recommend Alarm Specialist to any one looking for security services. 
Note on ADT: We had everything installed for security as per the recommendations & specifications of ADT & had scheduled maintenance service too. In late 2010, when we were still with ADT, we had a major burglary @ around 1am in the morning at our business. The intruder took his own sweet time walking back & forth to his vehicle several times loading all the loot! The security monitors installed by ADT never picked up anything the whole time the theft was going on or after & the alarm never went off. Couple of hours after the burglary, a cop passing by noticed the broken door, found our numbers in the building & called us.  ADT HAD NO CLUE of what was going on until we arrived at the scene & called them for an explanation. They didn't have an answer, so they sent out their tech to determine the problem. Even he couldn't figure out what went wrong. We lost over $60,000/- worth of property & over $15,000 worth in property damage!! ADT washed their hands off this matter & took no responsibility. Just to check, if this incident was just an accident or if it was ADT's fault, we set off a false fire alarm at home, ADT never called. Then turned the alarm on & broke the doorway & window circuit, ADT never called. Lastly, we tried & messed with the main ADT device, it didn't set off an alarm nor did ADT call. I will never ever trust my life & family with such a crappy service & irresponsible company. Thanks to ADT, because of this incident, our property & business insurance is sky rocketing. When we wanted to cancel their service, they sent us a bill of $1000/- for terminating the contract before the contract period ended. That was the icing on the cake!!! We couldn't sue them because my lawyer couldn't find any loop holes in their contract.  Stay away from ADT!!

Great! Couldn't ask for better!  They were on time and professional.  The owner came over and made sure that was satisfied.

We had another alarm company in the past but was never really happy with them and discontinued service.  We met David and redid our alarm system with some adjustments since we had put in a few new windows and wanted to include my husbands work shop in the rear yard.
They were great, got there when they said they would, professional, A plus in everything.
The most important part was the morning of our fire at our house, I was in bed, and the dogs were bothering me to get up way to early, I was just not ready, then I heard alarms going off! I had no idea what was going on, never had heard it before but jumped out of bed and went out my bedroom door with dogs behind me. Went around house in search of my husband then out to garage where his work shop is out behind garage, opened door from kitchen to garage and flames came pouring in. Our house phone weren't working, the wires had been melted, I could not punch in my code to my cell phone and squirt the garage where I thought my husband was..........Thank the Lord for Alarm Company that called the Fire Department for me and got them to my house before it spread to my entire house. (My husband had taken his electric wheelchair that morning down to the church to see the Pastor, he was not home)
Alarm ,(Dave, came over within 30 minutes of the fire to check on us and make sure he could be of help. They also were there when we rebuilt to put everything back together.

They gave me a one-time offer that they have. Everything was free, and they only charged me for the installation of the camera. They provided me a good service, and I haven’t had problems with it. They were really professional. The service was really accurate.

I switched over to ADS because of them being a larger company.   I was previously tied in with a too-small two-man operation that couldn't meet our needs when a weekend or emergency (lightning strike) service was required.   We feel confident that ADS has the depth to accommodate these requirements.  The conversion was inexpensive and the service by the local sales rep and folks at the local office has been great.   Switching our monitoring over to this company and using our existing equipment meant the switch was fast, easy and inexpensive.   We sleep with better peace of mind now.

The contractor arrived on time.  They were both very courteous and knowledgable about the product.  They quickly installed the system and cleaned up what little mess was made.  They taught me how to use the system.  I have been thrilled with the system especially the iPhone app every since.  I have had no problems at all.  I have recommended them to several friends.

They showed up when promised work was neat and professional. Cleaned up afterwards. Instructions were given and our calls were returned promptly when we had questions

I am happy with my security system and content with them. I liked them better before they merged with someone else. They still give good service and call the police if my alarm goes off. I've had them for years now and they seem very responsive. Their price is competitive with everyone else.

I was broken into during the night while my family was asleep and when I called and explained what happened they came out the same day and installed my alarm that afternoon.
