JC can do almost anything. He is an expert tile layer but also does almost any handyman service you need.
I have used him now on 4 homes and have referred him to friends. He currently did a large patio porch tile job for my best friend in a brick herringbone pattern (matching an older, existing walkway/porch). She and her husband are also very pleased with his work and attitude. They now have him doing work on a staircase, for wood trim.

John was a pleasure to work with. He was on the job everyday promised, and worked hard the entire time he was here. He is a craftsman, completing each phase of the job with great attention to detail. He was accommodating with changes and delays in getting materials for the job. He made all the purchases or the “guts” of the remodel (drywall, wood, plaster, plumbing, etc.) and brought them to the job as needed. We provided a charge card for the purchases which we found was an excellent choice given the high level of integrity John showed with that arrangement (he provided all the receipts and reconciled the statements to his purchases, and always looked to save money when he was able).
The bathroom went from a 1950’s style with blue toilet, sink and tub, to a sleek modern bath. John added a walk in shower with a glass block enclosure, a closed in water closet with a glass block window, double sink vanity, claw foot tub, bead board trim, and a built in closet. It is beautiful and exceeds our expectations. He also added three other closets to other areas in the house that look as if they have always been that way.
We can’t recommend John enough, he was really wonderful. I’m thankful for Angie’s list or I never would have run across him.

It has gone very well. He is very congenial and reliable. They cleaned up after themselves and he is very professional.
