do you rate a company that charges you $255 and can't fix your problem? 1 star is too good. DHHS has performed maintenance on my whole house Generac generator. I recently had fault light come on and the generator did not start automatically when I experienced a power outage. They sent out the same tech who did my maintenance. He diagnosed a low battery, cleaned the battery terminals and charged $255. BTW I tested the battery and and it checked out ok. A week later the same fault appeared and the generator did not kick in on another power failure.. The generator generated an error code. DHHS sent out the same tech. DHHS claimed the error code could indicate many different faults, and the tech manually restarted the generato rand left saying all was fine. A week later the fault appeared again. DHHS admitted that they do not have a tech capable of a deeper diagnosis. I called Generac and DHHS IS NOT one of their authorized dealers. They gave me the names of three locally. I called one. They immediately diagnosed the problem, did the repair and charged me half what DHHS did. I asked for a refund from DHHS and have heard only crickets.

They have been excellent as far as I'm concerned.

He does a terrific job. I found him through an ad eight or nine years ago when we were looking for a whole-house generator. He was efficient and pleasant and explained everything very clearly. The installation went very smoothly. Whenever I've had any questions or issues, they've been very prompt in addressing it and taking care of it.

They do awesome work, are honest, and give accurate estimates.

Their techinician was very professional and polite.  He put booties on his shoes and wore them throughout the house.  He cleaned up after himself and explained everything.  He was very good.

His pricing seemed very expensive and he took a long time to install the door.  I think I could have got the door for much cheaper price than what he charged me.  I had no choice but to go ahead with him since I am alone at home since my husband was sick and is still at a nursing home.  I asked him to give me an estimate for some bathroom repairs once he once he was done with the door and I never heard a word from him after that.  I asked him to get back to me within two weeks and he still has not got back to me after months and as such I think he does not need to work for me.  He even took advantage of some people who live down my street.  I would never use him again for any work.

Mike arrived on time and did a wonderful job of assessing and systematically completing each repair requested. He did a thorough job of explaining each problem and what was needed to do to fix it. He was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. I will definitely call Dave's Home Helper for future repairs and projects.

The techs arrived on time and were very nice. They performed all work that was requested in a timely manner.

They showed up on time did an outstanding job and kept me informed all during the process, they even took pictures and emailed them to me because I could not be there. Robert the estimator was upfront about everything and there were no surprises.

Dave came to give me the estimate was on time and very friendly. Did a thorough job in assessing the project. A few days later they arrived on time and got right to work. Both gentlemen were very nice and professional. Completed the job and it looks great. They did an awesome job.

The work went very well. A couple of days later I was trying to change a timer switch and was having issues, they came out that day with the same technician and he explained the circuit and helped me get it settled. It was very responsive of him. I am very happy with them. What a great handyman!

They showed up when they said they would (5 minutes early actually), were professional and did a great job.

Actually, the estimator did not show up for our first appointment, and I had to call them and reschedule which was not a huge problem. He was early for our second appointment. He emailed the estimate to me the next day and I called that day to schedule the work, which took place about a week later. The day before the work was to be done, I called them because instead of having just several gaps in the grout of the master bath shower redone, I decided I wanted the floor completely regrouted. I realized this would increase the price and also might cause them a scheduling problem, but they were able to work with it. Mike arrived on time and I showed him (because he was not the person who did the estimate, again, not a problem) what needed to be done and he got right to work, finished everything, and did a great job.

They were very professional. All the work was completed to my satisfaction.

They are great at returning calls, punctual, courteous, reliable, excellent service, pricing is reasonable, and good quality work.

Extremely pleased with their work. They were friendly and competent and were able to get multiple jobs done at one time, instead of having to hire 4 different people for each of the jobs. I would definitely use them again.

His price is a little high, but he did a really good job. If there is something that needs the attention he gives to his work, I would be willing to pay his higher price.

From the receptionist to the site-survey men, to the workers, all were nice to work with.

Reasonable, prompt, and always returns my call. Very professional.

He does very good work. He re-grouted the bathroom and did some electrical work. He also did some carpentry work. His pricing was a little high but with good results.
