I am a realtor, so my buyer paid him.  He is very flexible and his prices are very fair and competitive.  He is very detailed and my clients are very satisfied with him.  His professionalism matches my professionalism as a real estate broker because I would not want to recommend somebody that is not good to my clients or the buyer.  I can call him up on a Tuesday night at nine and ask him if he can do an inspection on Wednesday afternoon and he probably will do it , so that is the kind of service he provides.  We used to have fifteen days to do inspection but a lot of times, we get only five or ten days to do it, and so he is really responsive.

i had originally picked out another inspector from Angie's list that had several more reviews, but he was unavailable within the window of days i was going to need the inspection done. i went back to Angie's list and took a chance on Attention to Detail that only had one review. i checked out Steve's website and saw an example of what his report was going to look like. i really liked that it included pictures with arrows and circles pointing out exactly what the problem areas were. i contacted him and he was very personable and he was available when i needed him. i asked him several questions in the days leading up to inspection day and he was always there for me. He even gave me a first time home buyer discount. The inspection revealed things that made me not want to purchase the house and  with the inspection report in hand, i was able to get my earnest money back from the contract on the house. i will hire him in the future when i find another house that i'm ready to buy.

I was a first time home buyer and had no clue of where to start to look for a home inspector. I had heard horror stories regarding home inspection and I have been ripped off before on other products. So this time I knew I had to really do some research. So Google became my friend...I located a site called Florida InterNACHI where home inspectors became certified. The next step was to locate one close to the area I would be living as I felt they may have had a better understanding of the area. I sent out a few emails to a few but Steve came back with much more details - of what to look for in a inspector and to make sure they had been certified under this InterNACHI. I felt as though even if I had not chose him he had given me the tools for what to look for. So he was my choice. After the inspection not only was my realtor and the lender impressed. I was impressed he was very professional and very detailed, w/in 48 hrs he had given me the package. I was given pictures, summary of the inspection, areas of concern (and the severity of the concerns) which thankful most were all cosmetic, what to look for, he explained certain things he was not licensed in so he could only do a visual but if he saw something that could generate a problem he would advise me of this.. My realtor was very impressed and stated she was going to keep his name on file for future clients. After the inspections I was given a book on how to maintain your home and save energy (which I have reviewed a couple of times). Steve has sent me an email every year just to see how things were going - which I appreciate. I have just became a member of Angie's list so this is the reason why I'm just writing something. I have already recommended Steve to a couple of co-workers.
