After seeing the excellent reviews for this provider, my wife called to see if they could come provide an estimate. After a couple of days, she received a voice mail, stating that they had received the message, and providing the number to call back. She called back 2 or three times, each time detailing what was needed, and asking them to call me back. She never received another call back. It is understandable if a provider is busy, or unavailable for some reason. However, good business and common courtesy dictates that a return call is appropriate.

Alex (owner of AMG Services) was a gentleman and pleasure to be around.  We worked next to each other for more than a week and I observed his professionalism and his kind manner on a daily basis.  I cannot say enough about this man and his company.  Alex is very precise and clean in his work and will not quit until everything was just right.  This is a second home for my family and I gave Alex a key to the house to get the work started before I arrived and then let him keep the key to finish up after I left.  The trust was not misplaced and this speaks volume of his character.  I can't imagine using anybody other contractor or handyman after having the pleasure to make his acquaintance.  I highly recommend AMG Services!!!!!

I called AMG Handyman 3 times over a period of 3 weeks and left a message each time. After the third time he finally called me back and told me he was too busy and could not accept new work and I should try him again in a couple of weeks..

He should have returned call sooner or even changed his message to indicate the situation. When he did called back I would have expect he should have taken my number and told me he would call when he was available.

AMG was able to get it fixed quickly, with no additional parts needed. We are very pleased with the work.

It was a great experience. It's beautiful. The pantry that was originally in this house was one that the builders put in. The shelves were the wired ones coated with plastic. And then did not extend to the back wall where the wall was curved. They were also not put in very well; One of the shelves actually fell down and was being held up with bricks. When I had Alex to help with the re-doing of the bathroom ceiling, I mentioned the pantry. We discussed what would be good to do for it. I stated that ideally I would like to have solid shelves and that I would be able to adjust the shelf height. Since I am blind, I also wanted two things: 1.To have a lip on the front so things would not fall off the shelf and 2. To have the left back portion of the shelf to fit the wall curve so that nothing would fall off the back portion of the shelf.



I called him when I was able to find a good day to do the project and we agreed to meet on August 1. He showed me before he started what the track was like and the metal braces that he would put on the shelf. He showed me the nice wooden shelves and how he would fit the lip on each. When he finished the project, he showed me how to raise and lower the shelves. He had me practice while he was there. He is very sensitive to the fact that he needs to explain things well to me and also allow me to try to do something with the shelf before he leaves. Im happy with my pantry. I have one extra shelf now and Im not worried by getting hit in the head with something from the upper shelf and being hit in the hand by something from the left hand side.



Incidentally, my father who actually saw them said that they looked extremely attractive and functional. Alex is my go to person for projects.

It very well. When I had the problem with the ceiling I contacted AMG due to the A reviews on Angie's List. He came out promptly. He did an inspection to insure of no other leaks in all ceiling. He recommended a roofing company to look at the roof. The company I use is Suncoast Roofing. (Please see review on Suncoast Roofing) Once the roof job was done we set a time for AMG to come out again. He arrived promptly when he said. He repaired the damaged part of the ceiling. In order for that part of the ceiling to match the other he re-textured the entire bathroom ceiling. He then primed and painted it. Since I could not see the handy-work due to blindness. He gave my family members some pictures. After inspection from my family and friends both through pictures and actual viewing, they said he did a beautiful job. I have him lined up for other jobs. He takes pride in his work. This is something to be highly valued.

Alex removed all of the old mulch, dead bushes and leaves from the front of our building. He built wood landscaping barriers so that the mulch doesn't run into the drive way like it's always done in the past when it rains. He put down new mulch, cleaned up the bushes and trees
Alex is extremely professional and courteous. He's very cost conscious and always suggesting ideas to cut costs but still keep the job top quality. He's flexible with hours and does his best to complete a job within the agreed upon time frame. His work area is always neat and clean. He's pleasant to all of my employees and they genuinely like having him here each week.

Alex is a very thorough, dedicated, and honest craftsman. He takes his time and is very meticulous about the quality of work he performs no matter what the task is. He prepares the job site well, executes the task skillfully, and cleans up afterwards; can't ask for more!

He is a very meticulous with he tile work and trim work is exceptional. He has refinished 3 entire rooms for me. I would contract him again. He is very professional.

Alex furnished all the labor for renovating our bathrooms.
- Removed 2 layers of old vinyl on floor and replaced with ceramic tile.
- Removed old toilets and installed new ones
- Removed old vanities and installed new ones. Had to engineer some water supply lines and splash guards
- Caulk and painted
Bathrooms look beautiful. Good job. Excellent price. Very professional.
