Dr Karpf comes to our house to take care of both our dog and cat. He always comes when he says he will come. When he is here, he never rushes through the examine and always explains things thoroughly. He is extremely accessible because he has both day and evening hours. He is very caring and compassionate towards all of our pets and having him come to our house is much less stressful for them, especially the kitties.. We are fortunate to have had him for our Vet for over five years.

It was a great experience, don't hesitate to call when you need to visit a Vet. The convenience of not having to drive to the Vet was simply amazing! Thank you Dr Karpf!!!

Dr. Karpf has been our vet for several years now when our last vet left his practice. We called initially because of the convenience of house calls but the quality of service is next to none. Dr. Karpf is responsive, reliable, punctual and knowledgeable. He also lets us know in advance when he is going on vacation so we can schedule what needs to happen intelligently. When our dog Layla was put down after suffering from cancer, we were able to schedule a visit in our home and say our good-bye's in our home, without taking her in a car to a strange place. And our other animals were able to smell her and know that she was gone (which we heard is a good idea so they don't 'look' for the missing friend). And Dr. Karpf took her away so we didn't even have to deal with the body. Also, for those who are price conscious, his prices are completely comparable if not better than our last vet (and that includes the extra cost for the house call). Other services he provides are less than our last vet (with zero 'up-sell') and more than make up for the nominal fee he charges to come to our home. He was educated at one of the best veterinary schools in the country, Cornell, and really knows what he is doing. Dr. Karpf is a consummate professional and we are very grateful.

Dr.Karpf is a really professional and thoughtful Veterinarian. This was the first time I have ever used a visiting vet and I wasnt totally sure what to expect. But he came right in with all the equipment he needed to examine my dog and perform all the tests that needed to be done. I could not believe all the time he took calming my dog..who is shy with strangers- and answering all my many questions. He is extremely knowledgeable and was very gentle. I never once felt rushed or that he needed to be on his way.I would encourage anyone to have their pets treated at home..it is so less stressful. I will highly encourage everyone to use Dr. Karpf and I hope to use him for many years to come.

My golden retriever has been suffering from itchy paws for a long while now. I have gotten several opinions and tried several approaches. I contacted Jeff for an additional professional opinion.
Jeff very patiently listened to the whole history of trials and attempts to get Princess better.
He took all aspects into account and provided a detailed opinion while also taking the time to answer all my questions and concerns.
Not only did he consider Princess with her history, he also took into consideration what I as her mom would feel most comfortable with.
Thank you Jeff for your professional insight and your patience.
I feel like we are working on this puzzle as a team :)
Jeff's service far out - performed a standard visit at the veterinary clinic; he had extra time to spend and stayed until all questions were answered.
As an added benefit Princess got lots of love and affection from Jeff in the process.

The Vet. showed up on time and went right to work. He had all the and quot;toolsand quot; he needed to check out the cat. He took a blood sample and examined the cat. This is not his first time here. We have had a problem with this cat and the local vet was not able to deal with it.
This service is great. The doctor is wonderful. Professional and loves animals (you can tell). He is easy going and willing to answer any questions. We highly recommend him. It is so much easier than putting the cat in a cage and then waiting an hour in a small waiting room.

I have had Dr. Karpf come to my home for several years now to provide care to my precious pets. The 2 cats require a yearly exam and shots. It had become increasingly difficult for me to lift and transport them to a Vet's office. As with most animals,it was very traumatic for my cats to be in a Vet's waiting room with other animals, dogs barking, children, sick animals, etc. And it would take them awhile to calm down when we got home. And they never got consistency in the Vets office.
Dr. Karpf comes to the home with all required instruments and vacines, including a scale to weigh them. Since he now knows my cats and has records on them, I was able to call him recently and ask his advice about a problem with one of them. He was very willing to talk with me about it, which I much appreciated.
I am not saying that my little darlings enjoy his visits, but I am happy with his professionalism and care to them in my home.

The Visiting Vet was a referral by All Paws Veterinary. Having considered becoming a veterinarian myself I was impressed that this vet is a Cornell U. graduate (tops in the nation). The cat was in end stage renal failure due to old age. I wanted a reduced stress home euthanasia after a negative experience with this cat's litter mate. Who makes house calls in this day and age? The other house call vet I contacted was at a wedding and wanted to wait a day....not an option. Dr. Karp came promptly and insisted on a physical despite the workup from the referring vet. He does not euthanize and quot;on demandand quot; without medical cause. What I liked the most is that Dr. Karp injected an anesthesia in the spinal muscle while I held the cat in my lap.
It was and quot;enough for a German Shepard.and quot; When I was ready, we moved the sleeping cat to a table to access the proper vein. There was no pain or struggling because of dehydration like last time. It was perfect and peaceful. Outstanding experience for a very personal service performed in the home. Worth every penny. 3 other veterinary providers to whom I have paid thousands would not even consider coming to the home, less than 5 miles away. This really was the least stressful experience for both me and the patient. Thank you Dr. Karp.

They are great and very nice. They're also reasonably priced. I'm sure they could also recommend a pooper scooper or pet shops as well to care for your pet.

This was so convenient! The vet came to my house so I didn't have to drag my dogs and cats to the vet's office. No more dirty, hairy car and lugging crates and dragging dogs into a waiting room where they can be exposed to sick animals. The vet was very quick to respond, I called on Monday and got an appointment on Tuesday. It was so much easier than traveling to the vet office. None of my animals were stressed, and I still feel that they got excellent veterinary care. The doctor was thorough and took his time, and listened to all my concerns. I will definitely be using this in the future.
