Scott re did my oak wood floors throughout the entire home in Jan feb 2020. at the end of the day,we had to rush it a w the covid alarms going out. but over all they did a great job! my feeling was good people too. But of course I could not call them back during the pandemic for some minor things i noticed within the year. then After everything passed, I got well from covid myself and remembered to call him back. around the start of 2022 i think. I started trying to contact Scott. now its 2025 and i have not heard back with any of my calls. No answer and never a return call... Does anyone know if he is still in business? Or is he OK? I ask because i dont feel like it is in hi professional nature to do such a big job and blow me off. also i see here that there are no reviews since 2019. I really need a repair and maintanance work done on the floors. Thank you I only give 3 stars because they never followed up with me. where as the original intall i would have given 5 stars.

He was very patient with my other contractors and gave me a great price to refinishing and stain my floors . Great guys to work with !

The product didn't adhere property to our existing floor and when we asked them to come back and remove the finish I was told that they probably weren't going to be able to satisfy me. We asked him to take care of this before our scheduled move date. Next they changed their # with no forwarding #. So we contacted the corp office. We now have moved all our furnishing into our house and After we contacted the corp office he now wants to come remove the finish. Not convenient at all or smart on his part.

Excellent work, beyond my expectations. Scott is a perfectionist and it is evident in his work. He was on time from start to finish. Our parquet floors were worn and looked terrible. Scott transformed them to looking better than new.

There is nothing but praise I have for Scott Wood and The Sand Man Hardwood Flooring. Scott the owner is not only giving you the estimate, he is doing the job with one other employee from beginning to end. He is truly a professional, honest, affordable, trustworthy and reliable. I had quite a few estimates and Scotts was the second best. I decided to hire him, because of his good reviews. I have 65 year old Florida Pine floors and I chose to give them four coats after sanding. I cannot be happier with the result. Last time I had these floors redone, I paid $1500 for a inferior job. Scott charged me $2400 twenty years later and he delivered a flawless result. Considering inflation this is less money than 1995. Scott does all aspects of wood flooring like installing, repair and refinishing. Should I ever have another job in any of these areas, I would go so far and consult Scotts even before I purchase any materials. Again I cannot be happier with my decision to hire him.

Project was to Refinish wood flooring. Scott was truly professional, showed up on time, was thorough in his estimate, and the floors looked incredible. He even finished ahead of schedule. Would definiely recomend.

I can't say enough about how professional he was. My floors look perfect - he is very experienced in refinishing and staining wood, and is fair and honest. Don't look any further - he's the best!!

Scott is a real professional who should make far more than he's paid. We hired Scott at my son's home for difficult install in a 1926 house. Later, Scott installed wood laminate in our custom motor coach. Both wonderful jobs. Scott is on time, cleans up and communicates his schedule well.

Scott is a professional and did a great job at a great price. He came highly recommended from a local contractor to redo my red oak floors and stairs and he did a great job. They have all the machines and equipment needed. I highly recommend the Sandman. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. I am very happy!

Great company , very proffesional and knowledgable and timely.

Scott responded promptly gave me a very good quote and stuck to it. This was a very large job (>2,000sf) with some water damage. The two men did the job quickly and completely as scheduled. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a first class job to restore a wood floor. I was amazed at how little dust was generated. The house was left whistle clean each day.

I used The Sandman Hardwood Flooring, Inc. to do a complete redo of my original oak hardwood floors (circa 1940's). Scott (the owner) did an absolutely amazing job at a very competitive price. He showed up on time, finished on time, charged what he said he would charge, and the floors are STUNNING! He custom mixed colors for me to achieve the exact color I wanted and even put some different stains on the floor so I could see exactly how they looked on my floors. I could not be happier with every aspect of my experience with this company. My floors are PERFECT! Scott you are awesome...thank you so much!!!

They did a great job and the price was reasonble.

was able to get estimates for different treatments of the wood floor. Listened to me and explained to me the best option for my budget. I called other companies and had estimates and this was the best in price and treatments. The owner is reliable, ontime and professional.

Scott truly loves his profession and took extra care to do a fantastic job. The floors in my home were in bad shape and are also very old. Scott gave me a very fair estimate and stayed in touch with any updates. I also liked that Scott called me to let me know how the job was going and also to discuss choosing the right finish for my particular floors. I would highly recommend Scott and would call him again to do another job.

Scott Wood was very professional and courteous. His work exceeded my expectations. I could not believe how beautiful my 1947 floors turned out. They look like new! He worked with me to accommodate my schedule for the least inconvenience to me. Also, he instructed me on how to take care of my floors in the future to keep them looking great.
