"With almost 18 inches of rain from the tropical storm we are overwhelmed with calls for roof repairs and unable to return everyones calls. We are a small roofing repair company and do not have the man power to help everyone even though we would love too. We have heard from other roofing companies that they are unable to keep up with the calls for repairs also. I would be curious to hear how many other companies she has tried to contact and what the results were. Usually when I am in need of a repair at my home I will use the yellow pages and continue to call people until I get someone to help me, but that's just me. Janet Hartmann"
"We did give the member an estimate for roof repairs and he was told at the time we were about 2/3 weeks out. We have then had a very large amount of rainfall in South Florida and it has put us back and continues to keep us backed up. The member called again about a month later and wanted to know the status of the repairs, he was told then we would call him when we could get his job scheduled. We have had alot of emergency repairs and his job was not considered an emergency since it was a very small leak in the garage. He has since called every day wanting an update and we just don't have the office help to call him back eveyday and tell him we will call when we can schedule. He did not sign a contract with us nor did he give a deposit so he was under no obligation with us so he could have called any number of roofing companies to get his repair done."
