Gary & his associates recently helped me to get my house ready for sale. They started by pressure washing my pool patio & driveway. Then they moved on to fixing & replacing ceiling fans, patching rough spots on my ceilings & walls, replacing locks & lastly built out a new barn-style door to protect my pool & sprinkler equipment. That's just a partial list of all the mini projects they did for me. All of the work was very well done & Gary was always willing to tack on a little something else that I found needed doing along the way. He & his associates were not only professional but also just plain nice people & a pleasure to see every day for the duration of the project. Quality handymen are hard to find. I highly recommend Gary & am only sorry I did not find him years ago.

Stephen did a great job on the shed. He was on time to start and finished the job in a timely manor. With his wealth of knowledge and carpentry skills I was glad I hired Stephen. The shed turned out amazing and I look forward to hiring Stephen to do other projects in the future.

Steve was very professional, always on time. He came to install a new toilet, we went over a list of addl things to do... He later emailed an estimate and we went from there. He shopped for all of the materials (I gave him a check), did all of the repairs quickly, was very professional. I will definitely hire him again, I have another list of work to be done!

Stephen is extremely trustworthy and has consistently done a great job no matter what I have needed him to do. He began doing projects with me when I moved into my new home. He is willing to do any job no matter how big or small. I am challenged as a handy-woman and needed help getting my home set-up when I moved in and then to keep it in good repair. Stephen provides this service. He has always been on time and completed every job in a very timely manner. I call Stephen as things need to be done which typically means that something is broken and I need immediate help. Each project has been completed with professionalism and care.

When my fence came down in a storm Stephen reinstalled it and found a way to tightly secure it preventing another disaster. The light fixture incident began by my asking Stephen to change a bulb that I couldn't reach in the ceiling. He immediately diagnosed that there was actually a  problem with the fixture and repaired it on the spot. I have an art collection that is important to me with walls that need special handling to ensure security. Stephen did the problem solving and got my entire collection hung. He also helped choose where my artwork would be hung and I'm grateful for how beautiful the outcome is. Completing this project included rebuilding a wall that was incapable of holding the art. The door incident involved my 3 rogue dogs breaking and entering where their presence was strictly forbidden. Stephen saved me the cost of replacing the door by fixing it and refinishing it. You cannot tell that there was ever any damage. I had decided that the blinds for the two sets of sliders were broken and needing replacement. Stephen took a look at them, dismantled both sets, reassembled and rehung them.

His prices are extremely fair. I have recommended him to friends and neighbors who are equally pleased with the quality of his work and how timely his completion is. Stephen is creative and brings new perspectives to projects.

He arrived on the job on time everyday. He worked very hard from the time he got to my house until the time he left. He took a very short break for lunch and was right back at it. He cleaned up his mess at the end of the day. Not only did he vacuum, but he also mopped up the white dust that had accumulated on the floor from opening the ceiling for the high hat lights. When adding the shelving to my hall closet, he put up drop cloths around the wall and on the floor to help the dust stay confined to the hall area only so it didn't travel on to the other rooms. He made sure the job got done in a reasonable time frame and he didn't try to extend the job longer like some of the contractors I have dealt with in the past. He stayed true to what was quoted and got the job done in the correct amount of time and never had to come back to "finish" or fix anything once the job was completed. I will definitely contact Stephen from I Know a Guy for anything else that I need.

All work went well; taking about four days to complete. Shawn was in charge of the work and stayed on top of everything. With the exception of a defective water heater (that was replaced), all work was completed in a timely manner. At the risk of sounding repetitious, all work was done professionally and with skill. What ever job you have, these guys will more than likely be able to do it. In my opinion, these folks will not disappoint.
