Ward come out to our house explained our options. He was polite and informative we had gotten 3 quotes and their price was in line with the others. We were very pleased with our choice to hire them. I called the company for a second opinion the first company that came out here told me my coil in my air conditioner had to be cleaned it would cost $800 I told them the price was outrageous The next day I called big air Mechanical for a 27 point check up of my air conditioner at a cost of $99 yes you can get A check up cheaper elsewhere I just wanted to get somebody here the mechanic came check out the air conditioner coil did not need cleaning check the pressure outside in the compressor it was fine. The cost was $99 he asked me if I want A service contract for $199 which will give me A visit every six months for one year to check out my air conditioner change the filters blow out the condensation line and a 10% discount for any work that is needed and he would be dug the service cool of $99 I was happy he was extremely honest which is very difficult to find in Florida I would highly recommend This company I also asked do they give a senior discount the answer is no I then I asked how about a veterans discount the answer is yes 10%

I'm very impressed with the folks at Big Air Mechanical. They were fast to respond, competitively priced, and very professional. They are now my "Go to company" for my HVAC needs. Ward (the owner) followed up to make sure I was a happy customer, and Dustin was a pleasure to work with from the beginning to the end of the project. "Not True. Doug's system was completely down upon arrival. Installed new system with thermostat as per approved quote. After installation of new system it was noticed that the heat was not working. This was due to compromised wiring within his walls from the thermostat to the air handler in the attic. We were not able to identify this problem previously due to the condition of the existing system and was not part of the original quote. Quoted him the additional work needed to repair his compromised wiring in his walls and let us just say Doug was unable to comprehend this. In order to make this go away we ended up eating the additional trip, labor and materials providing that service at no additional charge. Got system inspected and permit signed off."

Was scammed into buying a replacement air conditioner. My A/C was a 2014 unit (Carrier brand) and the sales rep. falsely claimed that I needed a new unit and that Rheem is the best. I have learned that this is completely untrue. Lesson learned, but just wanted to make sure that the community is aware and that the company should not be trusted.

"Dana your system did need to be replaced which was all agreed upon upon learning of the condition of your evap coil. After you expressed your displeasure with Rheem we offered to put in a Payne (which is manufactured by Carrier) AHRI system which included a Payne condenser and a Carrier air handler of which you refused but yet the offer still stands."
