Poor quality sod and installation. He is working on too many jobs and pulls crew members to go work on other projects. Stll has not come back to fix the broken sprinkler head. Not impressive.

Focal Point Design and Landscaping just completed our Landscaping makeover and we could not be more pleased and excited with the results! We interviewed over 8 Landscaping companies before we decided to move forward with Focal Point. From the beginning of the process there was a voice of the customer and listening(first) approach to the overall engagement; from sales/design to throughout the installation process. There was a complete focus on making sure in the end we had exactly what we envisioned, which also met our budget. The entire team was friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, and respectful, and took great pride and ownership in their work product. In particular, I believe the hardscape design and installation is the best I have seen during my 10 years in the villages; great attention to detail, creativity, and quality. They put together a raised garden bed and brought only enough soil to fill it halfway. They said they would be back with more dirt so we gave them a forty dollar tip for their trouble, but they never returned. I called the owner Derek to remind him 3 times and 3 times he promised to get the dirt here. It has been over a month with no response. He certainly wasted no time in mailing his bill for the completed work. I will not recommend this business to anyone and I do not think Home Advisor should either.

"I understand your frustration, but please keep in mind this was work you added after we completed 2 jobs for you and we had to fit you in with other scheduled jobs. First job was on 7-1-20, second job was on 7-24-20 and then you ordered a planter box online and we came out and put it together for you and added some soil. The bill we sent was only for work we completed. It was very thoughtful of you to tip our guys for their trouble, unfortunately some of those guys are no longer with us. If you would like your forty dollars that you tipped the guys, we would be more than happy to mail it back for your trouble. If there is anything we can do, please let us know."

The sales representative, Derrick, is professional and helpful. He reviewed the front yard area and made recommendations while working within my budget. On the day of the installation a team of five guys arrived, and the head of the team conferred with me several times to make sure everything was perfect. Derrick returned to the home to check the project BEFORE asking for final payment and presented me with a diagram of the work done along with the names of all of the plants. He said to call if I have problems with any plant. My yard design is excellent and the plants are drought tolerant. Thank you Focal Point Design & Landscaping!

Derrick and crew were very professional and polite. Project was completed within half a day. I asked for low maintenance, updated, easy landscaping and that's what they designed. The Focal Point crew did a thorough job.... when they left, all plants and shrubs were installed and watered, stone spread, sprinkler system checked and and extra dirt and stone swept up. Would be comfortable recommending them to others.
