They did an excellent job. The free part was not even known when we went in. They are professionals, quick, honest, and generous.

When I delivered the iPad to the iFixandRepair store in Veira, FL they checked it in. The process was very professional, as they went through in front of me the functionality of the iPad as it existed, and had me sign off that it was fully functional minus the cracked glass.. They said they will work on it, and get back to me within a day or two...
The next day I get a call saying that the iPad has been repaired and I can pick it up. I go to the store, and pick up the iPad. It was wrapped in bubble wrap, and had rubber bands holding it together. Before I leave, I un-bubblewrap it to see if its working; and when I do I notice there are a series of large bubbles of air under the new glass.
I show them this, and the guy is shocked and takes the unit back to fix this. A few minutes later, he comes back with the unit - and the bubbles of air are gone. He says to NOT USE IT for 24-hours. So, I don't turn the unit on; and place it carefully in my car and drive home at which point I put it on my dresser - in a safe spot.
24-hours later, I look at the unit, and I turn it back on. I can tell the unit turns on, but the LCD is blank. Something is wrong, so I return back to the store with the unit, and they look at it; and ask if I dropped it. I said no, and they said they will take a look and let me know what is wrong.
Basically, after talking back and forth with them for over 4-5 weeks (at which point they still had my non-functioning iPad) I finally get the unit back, fully repaired. Apparently they had to special order some connector, and that took time.
I was happy to get my iPad back. But after a day, I noticed that the glass was not fully glued to the case. There was some give in it, and that was annoying the heck out of me... but at this point, I was frustrated with iFixandRepair I decided to get a LIfeProof case that would push the glass down and hold it all in place... .This worked for a month or so, and then eventually the screen gave out again... I did not want to return it to this place again, so I took it somewhere else where they told me it was irreparable... so I ended up having to purchase a brand new iPad.
