Master Roofing & Repairs

Buddy Taylor from Master Roofing and repairs came out before I bought this home and told me that they would rip the back room roof up and re-do it for $1500. He sent a guy out and the man only performed and quick repair. I called Buddy (the owner) back and he said "No $1500 was just for the repair I never said anything about ripping it all up". He was very unclear and shady, and never gave me a written estimate or any contract or form. I was going to pay him and asked him to stop by, so he did, I asked him to wait while I found the check, he was impatient and left and told me to mail it. A few days later the roof leaked again in the same spot, I called him back and he sent the same guy out to fix the issue. I called an inspector and another roofing company to give me an estimate on what it really costs for a small leak and if there would be anymore leaks. The inspector told me it was a shotty job and not worth the money. They spend around $100 in materials and 1 hour of labor and charged an outrageous price. I only went with him from the beginning because he said he would rip everything up. So while i was waiting for the inspection report, buddy and his accomplice came by my home at 9 P.M to bang on my doors and windows and harass me for money. I felt very uncomfortable and asked them to leave my property or I would call the cops as they headed back towards the truck, the guy turned around and came back towards me at the front door when I opened it at a fast pace so I quickly went inside and locked the door, he banged on the door window and said "I want my money or you're going to have problems". I never met this man in my life or even know who he is, buddy was there and when the cops went to his house he wasn't there and claimed he had to leave town and denied knowing the second guy. If I would have opened my door this man would have most definitely attacked me right there. Please, to anyone in the future who knows these people or is planning on doing business with them, do not do it. This company is very shady, unprofessional and will threaten you at your home as they did me. I signed up for Angies list and paid the price for 1 month just so that I may add a real and true review to this company so that anyone thinking of contacting them are not hurt. BEWARE.

Called for an estimate and Buddy met me 15 minutes later at the location. He was very courteous and professional. He explained to me in detail where the roof was leaking and why. He gave me a very fair price. The estimate was on Thursday 2/20, I called him Friday afternoon accepting his estimate. He was at the job first thing Monday morning and completed it Tuesday morning. There has since been some heavy rains and absolutely no more leaks.
