"I apologized to Martha as my twin sister passed away at the end of her project. I had a difficult time with this so wasn't able to focus. This job was in December of 2017. She did want some metal thresholds installed that were not included in my original proposal. Tile was installed and not very common to add flat metal to the edges. Normally finished carpet to tile. None the less, there is nothing I can do to change my sister's passing."
"Oh please. Did a beautiful job and got paid. Customer wanted extra work done that was not included in the contract. The HOA would be paying for metal framing and drywall. Roof was leaking and damaged the interior of this condo. I left him a voicemail explaining I could not do this type of work as my license does not allow. Also I had a little trim work left where repair was needed and told him in voicemail to call me when wall repairs were completed. Now I?m dishonest. I even poured new floors as his were terrible. I sit amazed."
"Customer was difficult to deal with before I could even get started with install. I have never walked off a job but maybe I should have here. I get low score for customer service. During the process I have nearly 100 texts, emails, and phone calls as late as 9:15 pm. This quantity is unheard of, especially with poor service. He was not home during the day so any issues were communicated with his wife but he complained to me about communication. His transitions to other rooms require changing the wood floor moldings. Can't always predict the outcome prior to install but I did tell his wife the minute I knew. I didn't call him and tell him so my fault. His door jambs in the home are split jams and they are coming apart. The laundry room door was affected. Door might need to be trimmed but I can't 100% predict 1/4" before job is complete. I forgot to tell him about the door being a problem so shame on me. His slab had some major issues and it did slow us down. I am more concerned with quality and not how fast I can get it done. I don't like getting pressured because house is in disarray for a few days. This is what happens when remodels take place. I was doomed from the beginning with him as apparently no pleasing him. I told him straight up busting chops on jobs doesn't earn anything but animosity. The grouting was done in 2 phases. There was grout haze as the tile would not come perfectly clean. I offered to clean the following day but his wife did vinegar wash and haze came right off. Not major deal. On phase 2 grouting I knew the wife would mop when grout dried. The tile was delivered from distribution in Dallas to Miami warehouse, in error so it was not available when I went to pick up. Came the next day. I went to the job and applied floor leveler so not a lot of time lost. Customer was always there telling me how to run my business. I have a great reputation and he was destined to try to tarnish. It is disheartening there are people like that. He states he would consider using me again but scored me 3.5. Go figure but doesn't add up to me."
"Mary and her family are wonderful people with big hearts. It was a pleasure to do work for them!"
"Talk about devoted dogs. I worked in their home while they were away. The dogs diligently waited by the front door. Had to chase them away to finish my job but worth it. Alyse was great to work for"
"Linda is a wonderful customer and so pleasant to work for. I am now scheduling another job for her."
