I'm interested in a generic advice on what we could do using solar for the house. We do not have a pool so what I'm considering is a water heater and electrical additions.
Our water heater is 10yrs old and I've looked into getting a gas heater instead of an electrical, but I would like to compare to going solar. I'm also open for any other suggestions.

I like them and they are nice people.  It is not their fault that we have not had them installed it because we have to go through the home owner?s association.  I decided to get a quote from them because Angie?s List had a special which was advertised through the email but I think the special ended at the end of June.  

They were here the day after we called.  I will recommend them.

Extremely courteous service done promptly and with admire able thoroughness.

We had difficulty with the permitting process due to the hardware manufacture we desired being bought out. The purchasing company decided to place their own name plate on their products. As a result the panels we had agreed to buy didn't match the Florida approved equipment. Climatic Solar spent a lot of time trying to resolve this issue. In the end we agreed to change to a different hardware manufacture that had approved hardware. Once the permitting hurtle was overcome everything went quickly and smoothly. We are very happy with the end product. During the final inspection the inspector commented numerous times on the quality and professionalism of the installation.

We just bought our home and tried to call the original solar panel install company with absolutely NO response upon multiple tries.  I phoned the original pool installer and he gave me Climatic's name and number. 
I made one phone call and someone came that day!  Nice guy...came and checked out the solar panels, fixed a small leak and cut the pipes to make them ready for the gutter guys...Right then and there!!!  Then when I wanted to pay for the services he said not to worry that he would back, to finish the job when the gutters were in place.  Well true to his word a few days later once the gutters were installed I made a phone call to Climatic and Whalla...Nice gentleman came, did his thing, FINISHED.  PERFECTLY DONE!!! 
Professional Company that worked on short notice, on a system that was not there own AMAZING!
The turn-a-round in service and quality of workmanship was well worth the cost.

Work/installation was done as promised there was a delay in installing the solar controller because 'there was a delay in getting them from the factory' after a few months I noticed that the pool temp thermometer and the solar controller reading were different so I called the company numerous times.  while not saying it, they would not send anyone out to check the calibration of the system, they simply refered me to the owners manual (which had to be downloaded from the manufacturers site since none is provided with the unit) while I have no 'physical' problems with the system, I am rating them a C because instead of sending someone out to my house to assist me, they simply told me to 'read the owners manual' which has left me with a 'you bought, you figure it out' feeling....   if they had said "we will certainly come out and take a look at the system and assist you in any way we can', they would have received an A rating....

Our original pool heating solar panels had suffered much in this Florida weather.  Several time we had to have leaks repaired, and finally decided that repairs were not the answer. We decided to use a local company which we knew had been used by other families in our area. We were definitely NOT disappointed. The workers were prompt, efficient, and courteous.  The cost was very reaonable, and the president of the company personally inspected the finished work.  He is a very personable man, and a pleasure to do business with.

We started with an explanation of what was going to be done, how much it would cost, when it would begin and how long it would take and what kind of results we could expect. Everything was done and finished and charged as discussed in the beginning. Explanation of the use of a new variable speed pump could have been more detailed.
