West Coast Mattress of Venice

We purchased a queen mattress and foundation. The foundation rattled when pressing on one corner of the mattress so they exchanged it without a fuss. We liked the comfort of the mattress so much that we talked to them about trading up to a king. They were happy to credit us with the return of the new queen and we paid the difference for the king plus the motion bed frame still getting a good price. Communication about delivery times was a bit inconsistent but they were very accommodating by returning when we were home. The folks at West Coast Mattress were friendly, patient and very accommodating while delivering a product at a very competitive price.

Went to get info and pricing. I intend to make a purchase here as soon as my home renovations are completed. I have spoken to other mattress people but these were the best, providing product info and good pricing.

The delivery team brought the mattress sets in and removed the old bedding as agreed. In handling the foundation pieces, the stapled bottom lining pieces were pulled loose. Next they tried to connect headboards to frame and couldn't figure out how to do it. After a period of time, and conferring with someone by phone, the service team told us they had to order adapter plates which is what we had told the salesman to begin with. We were told it would take about 5 days. Two and a half weeks later, when we called to find out what was happening, we were told they were just getting ready to call us?!??! The delivery team came again the following day and once more did not know what to do!! They finally said they were finished and left. The frames were on the headboards, but not centered by a noticeable 3 inches!!!!!!! They also used a variety of unmatched nuts and bolts to do the installation. We have had it!!!!! My husband is now re-doing their job -- what a headache. We are not difficult people to please but will never ever patronize nor recommend West Coast Mattress to anyone!!!!!!!!

There are many mattress stores in Venice, Florida area. I dealt with Mattress Firm (also very good), Land of Sleep (avoid), and West Coast Mattress. I was impressed because even though I wasn't buying an expensive mattress set, they gave me as much attention and consideration as if I was spending thousands of dollars on a mattress. A previous store wanted to sell me a regular twin metal frame, but West Coast explained why I should get the Twin XL (same price) for my twin XL bed They found one in their stock room, checked to make sure all the parts were in the box, and loaded it for me. The price was great ($49). I needed a second one so they wrote an order to get it in a few days. Unfortunately, they wouldn't be able to get one soon because the supplier had a minimum $1000 order. So they sold me one of their frames from the floor for $35 so I could set up both my beds. In contrast, I stopped at Land of Sleep first. The sales person didn't know if the wheels on their frames had locks, didn't know which of their frames on the floor was the most current, and worst of all didn't want to look at the ones in his stock room to answer my questions because "they are in a box". He had no interest in helping me and I certainly wouldn't want to spend money on a mattress with that kind of attitude.
