The Mold Guys

Learning that we had mold in our home because our air conditioning system failed - and that failure had not been discovered for a period of weeks â  was so distressing. Especially since we were in New England, and our house is in Venice, FL! Fortunately, we were given The Mold Guys as a reference for remediation; we also have a friend nearby who is a retired firefighter, and she offered to be our â  on site contactâ  . The combination of BOTH of those services proved to save our sanity and our property! Jim and his crew from The Mold Guys were prompt at diagnosing and remediating multiple issues. Pictures were sent; texts were exchanged; phone calls were made from the start to the conclusion of the remediation process. These exchanges made a very stressful situation less overwhelming; we felt as if we were aware of ALL decisions. We knew immediately what had to be discarded and what would be treated and bagged for us to review upon our return. While all this work was taking place, our contact person, the retired firefighter, visited the house numerous times a day. She noted that because of her career fighting fires, determining their origin, and dealing with their aftermath, she was absolutely impressed with the professionalism and work ethic of Jim and his team. She pointed out that all her questions were answered patiently, respectfully, and with complete knowledge. She said there was no question that â  These guys knew exactly what needed to be done and did their work impeccablyâ  . She said that she would absolutely refer The Mold Guys to anyone who needed a referral â  and she is often asked because of her background! The job is now complete; we will be returning to Venice in a matter of days. We are thankful that we had such sterling onsite care during the clean up process. At this point, I would give The Mold Guys the highest rating possible in every category of their remediation process...looking forward to writing a â  follow-upâ  once we have unpacked and gotten back to normal!

I had an extremely negative experience with this mold hygienist company. From the get-go, Jim was rude and unprofessional. Despite promising to provide a thorough protocol, they failed to identify the source of the mold issue. They refused to collaborate with our remediation company, leaving us with an incomplete and ineffective solution. The owner's behavior was unacceptable; he callously hung up on my husband and stated he wouldn't return for further testing. This level of disrespect and incompetence is inexcusable. I would strongly advise against using this company for any mold-related services.

Prompt appointment scheduling and great customer service however the conversation the tech had with me during and after the testing made the mold seem very serious but when the report was issued and sent to parties of a major lawsuit the airborne mold was within safe parameters.

Jim has been nothing but helpful answers every phone call and email quickly. He helped our family get out of a pickle with insurance.

I admire hard work and they truly came through for me. I had no suprises at the end or complaints.
