Mechanic had grease and oil on hands , clothes and shoes.  Did not take precaution to keep interior of car clean.  Had to clean upholstery and steering wheel when I got home.

Fantastic! Ignore the location and building. The guys are great, price is fair and the work is great. Just go there, drop it off, and they'll call you when it's ready. Trust them!

Having recently purchased this vehicle from an elderly driver, there were several items due for replacement.  Based on the write-up from Angie's List, I chose South Venice Auto Repair.  After they had looked over the car, Chad called and explained everything to me.  He said the car would be ready the next day and it was.  When I picked it up, the repairman, Michael, discussed what he did and answered all my questions.  I was thoroughly pleased with their work and the reasonable price they charged for it.

They specialized in Ford products and are Ford-certified mechanics. The jobs worked out right, did it on time, was done at budget, and if they did found anything else on your car, they call me about it and asked me for a decision if I have the budget and get it done right now. I'm just very happy with them.

I took my car in to South Venice Auto Repair because my muffle came loose, was out of position and dragging. I had never been there before. The owner, Chad, and his worker viewed my muffler and ran by several scenarios they could perform to fix it without having to order and install a new muffler, which would have cost several hundred dollars. After discussing it, they told me to bring the car in the next morning. They warned me that if they were unsuccessful in their attempt to fix it "manually", they would have to order a muffler, and I agreed.
About an hour later, they called me to tell me my car was fixed. They had repaired the muffler by re-positioning and welding the muffler. The whole repair job cost $100, saving me a lot of money.
They were very professional, honest, and really seemed to care about saving me money. I will definitely take my car back to them for all my service needs (including oil changes and under the hood).

Just a good, honest shop...a rare find. I need some expensive clutch work on my Mustang. I'll have them do it.
