Electrical Switches, Outlets & Fixtures - Install or Repair
I highly recommend Palm Island Electric. We had electrical issues inside our home and also on the exterior of our home that other electricians couldn't figure out. Matt did a fantastic job diagnosing the problems and fixing all of it perfectly and in a very timely manner. Very friendly and professional as well! Great company!!

I absolutely LOVED working with Matt and his technicians Al and Dan! They are on time, very knowledgeable and super professional. Very personable too. They did a lot of work for me over the course of a couple of months helping me with remodeling my house in Sarasota. Nothing is too small or too big for them. Great customer service. Timely responses. If I buy another house in the area I will definitely use them and only them.

Palm Island looked for opportunities to reduce the cost of the install. This was a very involved scope as we needed to obtain additional power from FPL to support the water heater requirements. They worked until 1:30 am one day to get the job completed and ensure we had hot water. Very impressed Brian Moran

Palm Island Electric is quite the attentive company. We had them come in to do a quote and before you know it they got the job done. They came prepared and took care of everything we needed. Couldn't be more happy with the level of service and the quality of the work. We sold the house they worked on and home inspection came back super clean. Glad we hired Matt and his company.

Steer clear, this company is rapidly going downhill, the owner is scrambling, and doesn't want to stand behind poor work done by an employee who left. Instead he hides behind excuses: he's short-handed (wonder why), he hurt his back, he got divorced, he has to drive from Venice (I'm in Sarasota), on and on.

"We had an issues with this customer through the whole job, he was happy when he could chisel the bill down then always came up with a reason to complain if he wanted something else done for free. (He threatened legal action on almost every trade that worked on his house). Eventually we had to say no. The back issues and divorce had nothing to do with response time and where not excuses as to why we wouldn't return for free. Every contractor I know in the state is short handed, if your wondering why there aren't enough good trades people in the state, and the younger generation doesn't seem to have as much interest in the trades."

Quickly checked circuit breakers then began to check light switches and found wiring was loose. Fixed wiring.

We had a number of electrical projects that we wanted to have done, and Palm Island Electric did the work for us. We were very happy with their work and will definitely use them again in the future. Joe was very professional and knowledgeable. The owner, Matt, came by to assist with a particularly difficult project. The projects took several days to complete, and they were always on time and got to work right away.
