We were extremely pleased with the quality of the work. Oleg's attention to detail is obvious in the finished product. He utilized symmetry in the application of the tiles which is very pleasing to the eye. Oleg was very punctual and showed up at the same time every day. I would not hesitate to hire Omkal for future projects.

Oleg and Omkal Construction did an amazing job on our remodel and repair work. Shortly after settling on our home we found major termite damage. Oleg and team removed the damaged joists, took down a wall and installed a new I-Beam giving them a an amazing open floor plan with which to do our remodel. Oleg is responsive, timely and does great work. I would not hesitate to use him again!

There were some unexpected delays due to material availability, but whole project was completed very well. Highly recommended !

Oleg recently finished an extensive renovation for us that included reconfiguring rooms by moving walls and lowering the ceiling. We completely renovated our kitchen and master bath with new cabinets and tiling and created a walk-in shower, added a tray ceiling to our dining room, and remolded our living room including new tile floors throughout. . Oleg did great work and offered helpful suggestions throughout the process. He always promptly returned calls and kept us informed regarding the progress of the project and was always accommodating . Most importantly, he stayed on the renovation at our house until it was complete. We would definitely use Oleg again and highly recommend his services.

Oleg did an excellent job demoing our home. Very prompt and fast with the job as well. It is hard for my husband and I to find professionals in the construction industry who possess business acumen and the ability to effectively communicate. Oleg possesses both. He is very good at pointing out to us best methods/solutions to implementing our remodel. He is also not afraid to point out potential problems/pitfalls with our design plans (e.g. cracking of floor tiles down the future when the addition settles). Every bit of advice Oleg has provided us thus far has been invaluable. We feel that he sincerely cares about our project succeeding. We also feel that he is one of the most knowledgeable GC we have come across; that is, he is well versed in many trades. As a millennial, I prefer communication by email/text and Oleg is highly adaptable to this form of communication --- and he is very good with written communication. He is also good with communication in person and by phone. It is refreshing to find someone in the industry that is adaptable to different means of communication. I cannot imagine a better experience working with a contractor. Oleg Udovik, Owner, and his partner, Oleg, are expert carpenters, knowledgeable in all trades, and take tremendous pride in their work. They focused completely on our project and worked nonstop every day without fail from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (sometimes longer) until the project was complete. The project duration was roughly five weeks, including time spent waiting for granite counter tops to be delivered and installed by a different contractor. Oleg was incredibly reasonable with respect to cost and flexible with respect to making adjustments to create the best kitchen possible, as we uncovered opportunities to make improvements along the way. It was a major project and we could not be more satisfied.

We cannot describe how happy we are with the work that Oleg did for us. We are extremely happy and satisfied with the way our bathroom looks now. Oleg came to our attention by being recommended by friend. From the get go, Oleg was professional, punctual, insightful, courteous and very easy to communicate with. He answered all of the questions we had after our initial meeting, and we knew right away that we would hire him. Oleg's estimate was for labor and building materials, but we greatly appreciated his ideas and recommendations about everything else we needed for this bathroom renovation. This was not an easy job, as they basically rebuilt the entire bathroom. The entire project was completed on time, we were told 2 weeks (10 business days) and they actually finished a day earlier. The quality of Oleg’s work was exceptional, with a great attention to detail and aesthetics resulting in a beautiful bathroom. We would recommend him highly and without reservation. When it comes time for our kitchen renovation, Oleg will get the job for sure.

I feel bad that it's taken me so long to review this contractor, because I had such an excellent experience.  The original charge for the services above was $8500, and there was about $2500 more in materials, painting, and permits (which seemed to be charged at a fair cost). 
I am still amazed that Oleg was able to do everything in the scheduled time (2 weeks).  It seemed to be mostly him and one other guy, but in that time the demo'd everything including most of the wall between the kitchen and dining room, moved the plumbing to move the sink/dishwasher to the new island, installed floors, cabinets, appliances, etc, and finished the crown molding which looks great.  I would absolutely use these contractors again, and in fact plan to do so.
If I had one suggestion, it would to be as clear with communication as possible.  I altered the contract to be very specific, and I'm glad I did so just so I could refer back.  There was a little confusion about permits, which was probably due to me not really understanding the homeowner's permit process.  And a few times I feel like I explained things to Oleg, and he didn't really "get it" until he could see for himself.  There is a small problem with the floor, in that my wood flooring is separating, but that may be my fault as well -- the flooring was being discontinued and so I bought enough to do the kitchen, and stored it in my garage for almost a year.  Oleg warned me that it was very difficult to install, as the click-lock tabs were breaking off.  I don't know if a flooring-specific installer could have done better, but that has been my only problem with the kitchen in the year since the work was done. 
I think little things like the above would happen with any contractor, and in fact from the renovation horror stories I've heard I would have expected more difficulties, but I think Oleg really went above and beyond to be creative and make sure I was happy, even though I did some non-standard things with my IKEA cabinets (e.g. creating an island with a wall in between, cutting a 12" cabinet down to 6".
Oh, as one other tip, I would not use "George the Granite Guy" who Oleg recommended to me.  He was downright awful -- didn't template correctly and so my granite riser was cut incorrectly, and he had used up the whole slab so I had to tile instead.  Instead of apologizing, George charged me for the tile installation, and then repeatedly flaked on the installation with excuses like, "The guys got drunk last night and are too hung over to come."  It probably took about six missed and cancelled appointments before I got that one 6 foot x 12 inch section tiled.  George was probably the most unprofessional person I've ever interacted with, but that shouldn't reflect on Oleg.

It went very well from first contact until the final clean up. We called for an estimate and the phone was answered by the owner, Oleg. We arranged a day and time for a visit and he was there promptly. He promised an estimate within a few days and followed through with a very reasonable quote in comparison to other estimates we received. When we agreed to use Sweet Home, Oleg came back to the house to review what would be done and created a list of those items we would provide based on our own preferences (cabinets, vanities, tiles, lights, etc.). A date was set for the start and Oleg and his two workers showed up and began demolition, but not before checking the already delivered kitchen cabinets to insure there were no damages.
One of the reasons we chose Sweet Home was that the owner did the work unlike other companies where the person who gives the estimate only gives estimates. Oleg was on site virtually every day during the six week renovation and worked as hard as his workers.
We were fortunate that there were no major problems "behind the walls," except for some very old plumbing, original to the 60 year old house. Oleg recommended we fully replace supply and waste lines and agreed to do the work at no extra charge for labor.
We were impressed with the way Oleg and his workers Oleg and Kiril worked together and confered with each other to solve some of the issues that arise with any renovation. We found Oleg, Oleg and Kiril to be very knowledgeable and skillful with very strong attention to detail.
Bottom line: we are very pleased with the process and the product.
We would recommend Oleg and his team in a heartbeat.
