When I made the appointment there were two choices for level of expertise. My hair is very thick and was a few inches below the shoulder. Coming from the northeast and previously having an expert style my hair, I requested an "expert" for this appointment. However, I didn't receive an expert stylist. She cut my hair in about 10 minutes. I was astonished. She didn't style it, simply cut a few inches off. I asked for long layers and shorter in the top/front, but that didn't happen. While she was cutting my hair, another salon person stood next to her. She made several negative comments to her about the way my hair was previously styled. I hadn't had a cut since June, so it had a couple months growth. However, it still retained it's shape, as my NY trained stylist knew what she was doing. I definitely would not return and this is definitely not a "New York" salon.
