"I did call and informed that we were very busy and are typically booked 2-3 weeks out in the winter season. I had to refer this client to another independent handyman so I cannot be responsible for someone else’[Member Information Removed] appointments. I never met this client in person and have not seen the job to give a quote. I do not give quotes over the phone without looking at the job in person."
"My company website has my direct cell phone number and contact email address as well as my facebook link that goes directly to my phone and iPad simultaneously. I received no messages whatsoever nor have I ever heard of this person. Also, we do not do carpet work and do not advertise as such. If she is talking about this (Angies List) "website" I plainly state that that I do not check messages here and to please call me directly."
As of today all the kitchen cabinet doors have not been hung, the walls and ceiling have not been textured, and I have a garage full of construction debris. Also the mortar on the floor tiles has not been sealed.
I would like to point out that I paid Rob on every invoice that he presented within 48 hours, so this not a dlispute over money. He simply drifted off to other jobs - very unprofessional.
"AL I took this job is a referral from two very good customers. Mr. [Member name] is a do-it-yourselfer who hired us to do just what he did not want to. This Job went south when my tile sub of many years took the deposit money then did not show up. I chose to do the floor personally for the other 1/2 due and burned the midnight oil to try and recover from the loss. Second issue was waiting weeks for cabinet vendor to deliver missing parts. Both of these companies no longer work for me. All that is needing finished is only 3 out of several cabinet doors installed, tile grout liquid sealer applied and the new kitchen walls textured. (no painting was asked to be done). This customer said he could have the same texture guy that did the entire rest of the house prior to hiring us to do the kitchen which I agreed would be best to match and told me not to worry about starting master bathroom. (No bid was given for guest bath remodel, only tile floor was done). Lastly the only debris in garage is a sink, empty new toilet box, a dolly and two 1/2 full trash cans . We always left the job clean and tidy and made sure his vehicle would fit in the garage. I informed The customer that I had to take other jobs to make up the loss from this one and also that we were unavailable dealing with my grandson with cancer in MI. I left messages a few times to contact me with no reply? The only time we asked for pay was for what was completed and he paid did pay within 48 hours. This job is all of 90% completed. In short he has a beautiful new tile floor and completely remodeled kitchen and were out almost 2k? I feel that a C rating is warranted at the least."
