Oh my gosh, this place is amazing from beginning to end! The workers who delivered and installed my fridge had to take the doors off to get it in my mobile home. They were courteous, extremely careful with bringing it in and I am absolutely thrilled they made it happen! I believe their names were Mac and Frankie. They went out of their way to make it happen and it was certainly no easy task. Unbelievable service!!!!

We had a full kitchen of new appliances installed by Jessups when we puchased our condo in April of 2014. We then proceed to return to our Northern home. While renovations were being done, the oven would spontaneously go on and the fan would run. The contractor working on our home finally shut off the breaker. When we returned in December, we attempted to use the oven and experienced a burning smell, so we immediately turned off the unit at the breaker and called Jessups. They referred us to the manufacturer's customer service agent, who came out and experienced the same issue we did. He advised us not to use the unit until he could return and pull it out to determine the cause. When he returned he found that the master transfer and power cord were burnt and damaged. We requested a replacement oven since we were very concerned about a such a massive parts replacement on a unit that had not ever been used. We were also concerned that the root cause of the burnt parts had not been determined so that if those parts were replaced, we might experience the same problem. We called Jessups and the salesman suggested we deal directly with Samsung. I noted that we did not purchase the oven from Samsung, but from Jessups and was there someone else who could help me. I was put on hold and then a person who indentified himself as Tom Jessup, the owner, got on the phone. We were shocked by his demeanor and attitude from his first words, before he even heard our concerns, he proceeded to launch into a diatribe saying he would only replace the parts, that we had had the oven for 9 months and when I reminded him that it had never been used, he said that was immaterial. I can only think Mr. Jessup was having a very bad day and decided to take this out on us. I have never experienced such rudeness and lack of concern. Regardless of the issue there was no need for his attitude. Both the manufacturer's agent as well as the repair person from Jessups who heard my side of the conversation were surprised that we received such a response. In closing he told me he has been in business for 50 years and just didn't care. There was actually no need to tell me that, since it was obvious. We have purchased a new microwave from another appliance retailer and had it installed but continued to deal directly with Samsung on the original oven. They sent out two different service organizations to review the issue. FINALLY IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THE CAUSE OF THE ISSUE WAS FAULTY INSTALLATION ON THE PART OF JESSUPS. This is not our opinion, this is documented by the independent service organization. It is now very ironic that Mr. Jessup's attitude and response was inappropriate on so many levels, particularly since this could all have been avoided had his installation person done the job correctly. We have donated the repaired oven, documenting all the issues.
You may have a good experience with Jessups if you have no problems, but if you experience a problem and have the misfortune to deal directly with the owner, you are in for a treat. In my discussions with neighbors, I have learned that this is not uncommon. That if things go well, Jessups is fine to work with, but if you have an issue they are quite difficult. Most people are not repeat customers as will surely be the case with us. No matter the issue, such rudeness is uncalled for in any business.
This is especially disconcerting to us since in the 12 years we have been in Florida, we have purchased all of our appliances at Jessups and have referred them to many friends. When I told Mr. Jessup that i could no longer recommend him in good faith, he laughed and said: "I am sure you will tell everybody". In this he is absolutely correct, I have and I will.

We've been very pleased with JESSUP'S APPLIANCES. We've bought the microwave, a garbage disposal and a refrigerator from them. We love the products and the installation. The prices have been excellent.

Our washer quit suddenly on a Friday before our family was arriving for a
week visit with little ones. We searched the area on Saturday for an
in stock washer that had priced right. We found several that fit the
pricing at the big boxes, but they weren't available for a week.
Jessups had just what we needed. They had a floor model that was
discontinued in the storage area that was just right for us.
We agreed on the price and the staff loaded it into our van.
The following week, they took the old one off our hands.
We've been running the washer for a month and a half and all is well.

I asked Jessup's Appliances if they could match Lowe's price, which was $1,000.00 cheaper. I asked them if they could match Lowe's and they did. I got better service at Jessup's than I would have at Lowe's. The salespeople there explained everything. I found them extremely helpful. They spent about two hours with us, going through everything. They give you information on who to call if I should have a problem. They're there for you. Their customer service is excellent.

I had been looking for a washer and dryer for our new home and had almost decided that I would buy used. I just happened to drop into Jessup's to compare prices on new vs. used. Ben was my salesman and he was helpful, not pushy, and showed us a great deal on a new washer/dryer set that had just come out on the market and was deeply discounted to get it into homes. I purchased the washer and dryer and it was to be delivered on the day after Christmas. I got a call from Ben that day noting that they had sold so many of the washers that they did not have enough to make all deliveries and hoped to have my washer in a few days. However, he volunteered that he would have the dryer delivered and that they would also bring a and quot;loanerand quot; washer for me to use until my came. The and quot;loanerand quot; washer was new, just a scratch and dent and saved me, for the laundry had piled up since our move 4 days before. Within a few days our new washer was available and delivered. Washer and dryer installs were done seamlessly and all appliances checked out to make sure they were working well.
In addition, during the purchase, Ben told me about detergent they sell for HE machines and highly recommended it. I bought it ($70) for a huge box and couldn't be happier. You use only 1 tablespoon to wash and clothes come out cleaner and more fresh than other mainstream detergents I've used in the past.
Jessup's will be my go-to store for appliances in the future. Their prices are good and service is wonderful!
