They fixed it but it was under warranty and they sent me a bill for $147.54. There is a 12 year warranty and they were installed in 2011.

"We do thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us regarding your service experience. I reviewed your service ticket as well as your system history: You are correct in that you do have a 12 year warranty provided by the manufacturer of the panels. During that 12 years if the panel is deemed to have failed (per the manufacturer guidelines), you will receive a replacement panel at no cost to you for the panel. However, your warranty from the manufacturer does not cover Harrimans' standard service call fee of $127.50 + any non-warrantable parts. While the manufacturer will pay for a new panel, they will not pay our service fee. When you called on 3/3/17 and spoke with me, requesting the service call, you were advised of our service fee. Again I do thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. If I may answer any additional questions or clarify any of the information above, please feel free to reach out at anytime. The sales person was fine. I was planning to get an electric pool heater but he talked me into the solar system since there is no cost to operate and it was maintenance free. Unfortuantely, that was not the case. The system began leaking within the first year. The solar panels were leaking AND the plumbing pipes were leaking. They attempted to charge me an additional 900.00 to replace the pipes that were leaking all still within the first year. But then reduced it to 200.00 when I complained. By December 2009, Aquatherm Industries, the makers of these panels pulled Harrimans as an authorized installer due to improperly installing the systems. I received a letter from Aquatherm directing me to another number to call for service.
Now I have to contact another local dealer for service. While that seems like a good thing since Harrimans is not authorized to handle these systems anymore I'm finding that my system needs reconfiguring due to Harrimans inablity to install the system correctly. Each time the system leaks and that is often due to being installed incorrectly by an authorized dealer at the time, their is a trip charge.
What was supposed to be a great pool heating option from a company in business for a long time, turned into a nightmare for me.
As of 04/23/2015: I am on my 3rd service call for leaking panels this year alone. In prior years between 2009 and 2015: I have had 15 service calls for leaking panels to be plugged or totally replaced panels.
Now I have to contact another local dealer for service. While that seems like a good thing since Harrimans is not authorized to handle these systems anymore I'm finding that my system needs reconfiguring due to Harrimans inablity to install the system correctly. The solar panels were to be installed on the west side of the house. They had to run long pipes to get to the pool gear on the east side of the house. All of the pipes were painted to match the house. They even sent in paperwork to our HOA.

If we have any problems we call them and they come back. They are very prompt. The price, quality, and professionalism was great. I would use them again in the future.
