It was okay. It was not as impressive as I would have liked. They were on time. But, they put the hot water heater in too close to the wall. They said that the charge did not include the bleeding of the faucets after they installed the hot water heater. The guy said that it would involve another service call, which was ridiculous after you pay over $1000 for the service. So, it was very disappointing. I called up the owner and he said, "Well, I can't believe that the guy told you that. He has been with us for 15 years." I said to him, "I don't care if it was a new person that you hired yesterday. That's what the guy told me." He never called back after he said he would speak to the guy that did the repair work. The big deal never happened. They denied that they had a big deal. The charge was reversed.  I wouldn't use them again.

Plumbing inspection only. The company rep said he did not feel comfortable doing the water heater flush due to the age of the water heater and recommended we replace it.  It’s been 7 months and it’s still working fine.  He did not offer a discount on the price we paid for the inspection/water heater flushing. The plumbing inspection was fine.  He also recommended we replace our kitchen faucet, which we did.

I had called 2 days beforehand and spoke to woman who answered. Told her I just wanted toilet tune-up and that one of my toilets was original to home built in 1960. Explained when I flushed it that flapper was sticking. She said they could fix that. Also asked for 10am appointment, because I can't get to sleep until 1 or 2 am. Day of appointment Nick calls my house at 725 am to see if he can come earlier and of course wakes me up. He makes toilet back up all over floor and then tells me they don't have a flapper to fit that toilet. I was told by woman on phone they could replace old flapper. He puts in a new flapper and tells me I'll probably have same problem as before. Again I was told by woman on phone it could be replaced after telling her how old toilet was. I am very unhappy with this company.

Update as of 11/18/13: After using the newer toilet several times in the master bathroom, on the evening of Saturday 11/16, it was flushed and ended up flooding the bedroom upon leaving the room. The carpet in the bedroom was covered in 2 inches of water in the 45 to 60 minutes since it was last used. My husband went to see what was going on and heard the toilet was running. He looked in the tank and found that the flapper was stuck open, which caused the flooding. He immediately ripped out all of the bedroom carpet and removed all of the doors from the hinges to prevent further damage.

"Although our trucks are stocked with parts for many brands of toilets, unfortunately we were not able to furnish an exact replacement for your 53 year old Eljer toilet in the hall bathroom without special ordering the parts needed for proper repair. Concerning the master bath toilet, our technician expressed this toilet needed more than the flapper replaced. The main issue with this toilet is the existing flush valve is in need of replacement for proper function which is not covered under the coupon agreement. Without your authorization to replace this item we were not able to complete the repair needed for this toilet. We do offer an apology for waking you however, our technician was performing standard procedure. Thank you for taking the time to review us on Angie's List of which allows us a response. They were great. He was here on time and he was very pleasant. He explained things to me about things that could be upgraded in my house. It is an old house. He was just very nice. I didn't spend more than the big deal purchase. I didn't buy additional services. I would use them in the future.

When it says plumbing in the name, I thought they could do plumbing work. I ended up having Home Depot install the faucet. I wasn’t able to use the Big Deal I purchased.

It went very well, the technician was nice and curteous to me.  I am a disabled person and I was pleased the way he treated me and not talked down to me or take advantage of me.  I have been taken advantage in the past and it is hard for me to find a nice, honest people to do work for me.  I chose to replace the outside water shut-off valve because I have water softening delivery every month and the valve was old and in need of replacement.  I probably will use this company in the future.  Thank you Angie for offering these services to me.  It is important to me to find reputable and reliable and honest people for services.

plumber in essence used a "teaspoon" for a shovel job.  drove me to distraction with a proper remedy.  the "superior" came next day and tried to make a big issue---and expensive too--so lucky for me  a different co. came out and thankfully really knew what he was doing.

During the whole house inspection and water heater flush service, our technician came to realize an in-ground water line leak near the pump equipment. The homeowner expressed concern about digging the yard and did not want any large holes during the investigation process. The homeowner was never quoted a price for the repair nor charged for additional services rendered."

John, the company owner, did an initial whole-house assessment and identified several issues needing attention. He walked me through everything to ensure I understood the needs. I never once felt he was overselling me; all the suggestions were logical and/or evident. About a week later, his employee Jim arrived on time (after calling to let me know he was en route) and did an excellent job on all the tasks. He was meticulous and thorough, and like John, walked me through all the finished work. Both men were friendly and punctual, and I am wholly satisfied with the work. I am delighted to have an honest company I can call on when in need!
