They were excellent from the beginning to the end, they are prompt and they make sure that everything was put up properly and cleaned up everything. They gave us a very good price on the unit.

Our air conditioning system quit working. It would not come on at all. I called Marlin James to get service, and someone showed up that afternoon. The technician said that the coils were so dirty they were causing the system to freeze up. He said it would take 2 people to pull the system to clean it, and there was a possibility that the coils could spring a leak by removing them, and they would not be liable. He estimated the cost to be about $600 to $800. He seemed to be pushing us to get a whole new heat pump. He said he would get us a quote, which I received several days later - $2,400! The e-mail read “Due to the age and condition of your system. Pulling and cleaning you evaporator coil is not an option. Therefore we are quoting you to replace the evaporator coil.” After he left, my husband called someone who works for another air conditioning company. He said he pulls a/c coils by himself all the time. There’s no need for 2 people to do the job. Then he called the company that installed the system-Alan’s Air. They came out the next day and cleaned the coils without removing them, for a total cost of $295!

Arrival time was after the scheduled window, but I understand they were busy after the coldest day in Fl in a long time. Everything worked out great.

It went better than expected. Mr. James showed up on time and evaluated my situation. Another electrician had started the job, but never came back to finish it. Mr. James was able to come out to my house within a day of calling them. He took care of my situation promptly and under an hour. He's pricing was three time less than what the other electrician had quoted me, but never came back. This company is very professional. Mr. James is extremely knowledgeable in the electrical field. He seemed to find a quick solution to my problem through his troubleshooting skills. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this company.

Mike and Wislet were the technicians sent to clean the HVAC system. They showed up on time and were both very polite, respectful and professional. I was very pleased with the service they provided and would definitely use this company again.

It went very well. I thought my compressor had gone out. Tech Roger Williams diagnosed that is was just my coils and drain pan. He could have told me it was my compressor but he was honest with me. I would not have known the difference. Roger was very polite and professional. He went about his work quickly and I would be glad to have him back when and if I have a problem in the future. As far as the price is concerned, I have nothing to compare it with but I feel it was reasonable.

Great, no complaints

I noticed the drain line was clogged when I saw water in the clear plastic bubble on the main system and called Marlin James before I completely lost air. It was a Saturday but they were able to get someone to my house in an hour. The drain was serviced with no surprises but this was the 3rd time I had Marlin James come out to do this work this calendar year with the previous service done just 2 months ago. I sent an e-mail to the company expressing my displeasure over the amount of service calls for the same thing. On Monday Ms. Clark, one of the owners, called me about my concern. She had reviewed my history, looked at work tickets and was not happy herself with all that occurred. She offered to refund my last payment and for the service paid 2 months ago, she offered to have the company come back out and do a better cleaning job in about a week plus another service call 6 months from now in February 2018 with no charge. If my line clogged up again between services, I would not be charged if I needed them back out. I was impressed with the honesty by the owner and the genuine effort to make the situation right. I could have easily given a much lower score based strictly on the work to date but because they are doing such a great job in correcting the concern, I felt it was only fair to give them credit for their efforts. The owner even gave me direct contact information to let her know how things go in the future good or bad. I am very impressed with their response and will continue to use them.

Michael Blanchard was very professional and courteous. He did a through job, and he did a great job! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs A/C work.

All work was done professionally and the tech was courteous. AC has worked so far.

Austin did a great job! He didn't have the motor on his van, but he had another call to make that was going to take him near the supplier's location. Within a few hours, he returned with the motor, installed it, and got our unit operating again. This evening, our whole house is nice and cool, thanks to Austin and Marlin James! If I could grade him and his company, I would give both an "A+"!

As usual, this Spring, they inspected and cleaned our units. They also had to add Freon to both of them. They did a great job.
