John returned my call in a timely fashion. I had great difficulty finding professionals who wanted to do this small job. He came out, we discussed exactly what I wanted, and he gave me an estimate on the spot.
On the scheduled day, John appeared on time and began work before I even knew he was there. He built and stuccoed the planters to my satisfaction. He filled the crack on the other slab neatly and even filled in the front of the slab where it had been raised up.
I'm waiting to paint when I paint my house, but I'm very happy with the job done.
Don't use this guy!! he came out to my house around the 1st of June, I made a deal with him to have pavers installed in my backyard on the 23rd of June. about a week prior he text me to cancel till the 7th of July. This caused me to cancel my 4th of July party and now I had to reschedule other contractors. I hear nothing from him so on the 6th of July I text him only to find out he needed to again reschedule until the 15th of July. I expressed how this is very stressful because I needed to get this done, and I already have paid plans to go out of town and would have to reschedule other contractors again!! I expressed how very disappointed I was going to be if I cancel my trip and this doesn't get done. Days later I get a text with some sob story!! Sorry dude I don't buy it!! Thanks I have pallets of dying grass sitting here because I can put them down until your pavers are installed oh not to mention I just lost money on a non refundable plane ticket and once again I have to cancel or reschedule other contractors because of you!!!!! I have spent over a thousand dollars and have absolutely nothing done. This company is a joke he originally blamed the paver supply company but low and behold I didn't trust him and I already contacted the paver supply company and if he would have ordered the pavers when we originally shook hands and agreed on a contract they would have been here before the 1st projected date. Like I said this company is a COMPLETE JOKE!!!! don't waste your time nor your money with broken promises from this guy.
here is a response to his continued lies, he claims he has been in business for over 20 years but his business license was just issued. he claims he didn't order my pavers because money never exchanged hands when I offered him cash on the spot. he claims I completely re designed the project and I was offended etc, All I wanted to do was shift a 18x14 pad to a 45 deg angle, there was no talk about extra material because it was the same amount there was no discussion of me being upset about anything except being strung along for about 2 months and being lied to. Now anyone who wants to know the exact truth and see how you lied to me and your response is a complete fabricated lie can contact me at (813)507-1438 and I will forward you all the texts and you will see how he had one pathetic excuse after another and one lie after another and now has the audacity to come on here and make a total fabricated lie.... wow!
"As a company we are sorry you feel this way. Pavers are not ordered until payment is received for material. That was the understanding when we agreed to do the job. Our company never received any payment to secure the job or order the pavers. We checked for the paver availability so we knew the turn around time for the job. We quoted the job and were then informed of changes to the design that would have caused a price increase, which the client was not happy about and felt he should not be responsible for. We take our reputation very seriously and strive to be fair and do a great job for our clients. That was our intention when we came out to give the estimate and when we communicated with the client each time."
My problems started with the metal flange/mesh, originally installed to hold up the brick trim above garage door, rusted. It expanded and then pushed down on the stucco above the garage door. This stucco was separated from the concrete underneath and was cracked and beginning to fall.
The repair started with salvaging the brick facing trim with minimum breakage. These 21 year old brick trim pieces were not going to be found where you could buy new bricks. They were able to cut down some bricks they found to replace the broken pieces.
They then had to remove the rusted galvanized flange/mesh that led to the problem and removed all of the stucco above the garage door. They installed new flange material at the top of the repair, in place to hold the brick trim and at the inside edge where the new stucco needed to be installed. The first coat of stucco was applied, the brick trim was installed and then final built up coat of stucco was applied.
The quality of the work is great and as soon as I get a coat of paint on it after a few days, it will look like the original. I couldn't ask for better work.
They also performed some minor stucco and drywall repairs in the garage area where some tape seams had separated and nails popped. They repaired the stucco where some had separated and flaked off the block near the top of the brick wall. Again, quality was excellent.
