 + -1 moreEvaluated soil, topography, shade, irrigation system and water table conditions to recommend appropriate materials. Submitted a proposal and on acceptance initiated the removal of existing sod. Despite inclement weather, he patiently eliminated existing unwanted weeds and pests and installed an incredibly beautiful carpet of sod suited for south Tampa. Sam Puleo II is patient and deliberate and although he is young his approach to this business is reminiscent of old world craftsmen who take incredible pride in their work. Since completion, he has monitored the condition of the sod, adjusted sprinklers and is advising as to when to begin mowing again, when to fertilize, when to treat for fungus and to treat with pesticides. Just a complete and professional provider beyond our expectations. We will use him again and have requested that he consider providing separate but related services.
Description of Work: Assessed the existing sod and made recommendation for type of material to use for replacement. Removed existing sod, adjusted and repaired sprinkler heads and valves. Installed new sod and continues to monitor through the rooting process and advise as to ongoing maintenance.

 + 0 moreSam Peleo is the owner. It's a sod company on Angie's List recommended them because they don't put the sod in themselves. Sam is the one who has done the best work for them. He was very prompt and very reasonable.
Description of Work: A Better Lawn & Garden gave us an estimate to spray the lawn and to put the sod.
