The Bathroom was gutted. Every pipe exposed so we could find the leak that did all the damage. We found numerous problems with the original construction--pipes not secured; pipes not glued properly, pipes with leaking connections and even the toilet was never secured. The old tiles weren't
Tim Zimmerman used wonderboard (cement) for the shower walls and hardyboard for the flooring. No more leaks from the tiles either! The floor tiles are sealed so nothing will leak--correct grout was used on the floor and then they sealed it. The seams are as small as can be so the large tiles look amazing. Perfectly lined up. The subway tile was used in the shower area with glass tiles used to accent. Tim included a beautiful black granite counter top and a glass vessel sink.
The finish work is perfection! I just want to stand and stare at it!
