This is the second time that we have used Prestige Electrical Contracting to do electrical work in our condo. We are again extremely happy and pleased with their high quality work.
Promptly after calling Prestige Electrical, James Baranski called back and we arranged a time for him to come over to our condo and assess the work that we needed to have done. James was great in offering suggestions and his recommendations on how/where to locate fixtures, the type of fixtures to buy and where to buy them. One of the items we were going to do involved installing a new circuit, running wiring, installing a switch and corresponding new ceiling fixtures. James carefully checked the walls and ceiling area to assure he could run wiring without having to break any walls. He also provided a detailed item by item estimate of the cost for all the work to be done which included the new circuit light fixture, and new smoke detectors; hence this quote is both for services and fixtures. We, compared to working with other electrical contractors, thought the price from Prestige Electrical was very reasonable and fair. Prestige supplied all the necessary components and fixtures except for the bathroom fixture and kitchen fixture which we purchased at a local electrical supply and lighting company based on James's recommendation. James asked that we call when the fixtures were in and we would then arrange a time for his men to come out and do the entire work.
Once the fixtures were in, we called James and arranged a time a week later for his men to come out and do the work. Prestige supplied the condo association with copies of their insurance certifications and licenses most promptly.
At the day of installation, John and Danny, arrived at 8:30 am at the time promised along with the new circuit fixture, and new smoke detectors. They then proceeded to install all the various items and new fixtures. They worked together as a well integrated team in an organized and efficient manner. They were very neatly attired and they took great care in not marking up walls or ceiling areas and cleaning up after themselves. The running of wiring for the new switch and ceiling fixture proved to take more time and effort, but John was determined in his efforts to cleanly fish the wiring through the walls and locate the fixture and switch where we wanted. (They did not charge any extra for this extra effort). Both John and Danny were very knowledgeable about what they were doing and clearly skilled in their trade. Both are also great individuals with a friendly and outgoing personality - both a pleasure to talk with and to have in our home.
We were extremely pleased with the work Prestige Electrical performed, the timeliness, neatness, and quality of the end products.
We will use them again when we have other electrical work to do.
We strongly recommend, without any reservations, Prestige Electrical Contracting. They are just great !

James on the phone at first was hard to get a hold of, however once we were able to connect he got a team (john and one other electrician) to the house. John was very helpful, they made sure we were happy with the work. They also offered us options of what could be available for our ideas that were actually less money and made more sense. We are waiting on some estimates but we had two new fans placed, one lighting fixture hung, another one rebuilt and hung as well as several other smaller projects done today.

We bought this condo about 2 years ago. Since then we have been searching for an electrician who would tackle separating onto 3 switches, the 3 ceiling lights in the main room which were controlled by a single wall switch. Hence, if one wanted to put on the ceiling light - all 3 lights would go on at once. We have had 4 other major electrical firms come and look at if they could separate the circuits; all were well recognized electrical firms. None of these firms said this could be done without major breaking up of the wall and ceilings and they put out estimates of $2,000 to $3,000 for the work to just rewire.
On the recommendation of Hill Lighting, we contacted Prestige Electrical Contracting - James Baransky around Memorial Day. James came by the next day and checked the circuits and indicated that he could indeed separate the 3 ceiling fixtures onto separate switches. James climbed up and checked each of the ceiling fixture wiring as well as opened and check the wall swtich. He did indicate that they might need to run some new wiring and if so they would need to make a cutout at the junction of the wall and ceiling. However, he did not think it would be necessary. The cost estimate to separate each of the ceiling fixtures onto a separate switch and install new monorail ceiling track fixtures was $1,055 (excluding cost of dimmer switches). Based on James's assessment, we went ahead and ordered the new Tech Lighting Track Lighting from Hill Lighting.
When we returned to our condo in early July, the parts had arrived and Prestige Electrical came by to install the new lights and separate the circuits. The main lead from Prestige was John who came with his colleague Raul (? spelling). They diligently set about separating the circuits, installing new wall boxes to accommodate the new switches. They checked that all the parts were there for the 2 sets of track lighting and discussed with us how best to install these. They worked meticulously and efficiently - like two well coordinated machines. They installed the ceiling lighting and adjusted the lights in concert with us desires. They also had to purchase special electronic dimmers to accommodate the low voltage LED track lighting.
They also diligently cleaned up after themselves - even bringing in their own vacuum to catch little pieces of wire, dust, etc.
4-hours later they were all done. The work looked great and we are so pleased to be able to separately switch on/off each of the ceiling fixtures.
We would HIGHLY Recommend Prestige Electrical Contracting and in particular John and James for doing what no one else thought was possible or could be done without major breakage of ceilings and walls. Their work is first rate, they are meticulous and clean and the cost was reasonable.

His name is James Baranski. He has helped me so tremendously. It was a crystal chandelier and he said to me to inform him when it arrives and he will get his people there and I phoned him when the actual box arrived and the very next morning they were there. Two people were there and they assembled this huge chandelier and when they saw that they weren't going to make it by evening they brought in two more people for help and finished assembling it and hung it. I had two people from 10 O'clock to 6 O'clock and two more from 4 O'clock to 6 O'clock and they were working consistently and worked fantastically together. They are a good team. I was watching them and I couldn't believe how diligent they were and careful they were. The assembly of the actual chandelier takes forever and it doesn't come in a box. They put it together and each piece of crystal had to be hung individually and they had a picture to work from and it is a huge chandelier. I think I found them on Angie's list but I am not sure. The price of having those people for the whole day was amazing and I was quoted double that from a different company. They cleaned up after themselves. They were using gloves. I am calling them again as I know they will do a good job. I just saw the way they moved the existing small chandelier to a different room and not allowing the ladders to bump against my wall, etc and for free of charge.
