On the Move SWFL

My experience with On the Move was awful, & I would not recommend them to anyone. I contracted them to pack me, move me out of my current home, store my furniture & belongings for a month while i was waiting to move into my new home, move me into my new home, assist in unpacking me, & hang large, heavy art, pictures & mirrors. During that process, they lost some of my belongings, mixed up & gave me the belongings of other people (including a set of pots & pans, linens/ blankets, & a ladder), & they broke a designer floral arrangement of mine. After over 6 months of trying to reach them regarding the broken arrangement & my lost items & realizing they were avoiding me & giving me the run around, i finally was able to reach the owners Slade & Angela. Slade made several excuses about why they hadn't responded, & Angela then told me the reason i did not have my arrangement was bc the epoxy glue for it was “stuck on a boat coming from China due to the pandemic” . This is when i knew she was lying about the whole thing. I also want to add, the workers they sent to help unpack included a 17 year old girl who was on her phone more than she worked. I was charged $40 an hour for this young lady to be on her phone. The man they sent to help me hang my art & mirrors obviously had not hung anything before. Almost everything he hung has fallen down or come loose from the wall. When pictures have fallen, they reveal many holes where he mutilated my walks in many unsuccessful attempts to hang the items that i did not see until the item fell off the way. Consumer beware!. There are several other reviews on various other sites for On The Move that are similar to mine. This company should not be trusted with your precious, sentimental, valuable, & beloved belongings.

They will pick up your furniture and deliver it wherever you want it delivered, whether it be a consignment shop or another location. They will even take and put it in storage.
