Mediacom

It's awful. Their coverage was not good. Their programming was not good. They were slow. They just weren't good. It wasn't reliable. It would go out in a New York minute. It was affordable.

I get the whole package from them. I get high-speed internet, TV, cable and phone. There are only two companies that I can deal with here. Mediacom is a real pain and maybe most internet services are. I have to say that they are hard to deal with. Their customer service people don't know anything. I will get many answers as the people I talk to. Their communication is really poor within their departments. I've had to deal with supervisors most of the time when I had any real problem. I would never recommend them but they're almost the only game in town. I don't have a choice. There's one other but they're kind of new and I haven't tried them because its too difficult. The service calls are part of what I pay for every month. If it were independent, they'd be way too expensive. I now have a good deal. In the past its been very high. Their pricing is very high. Maybe its because they are the monopoly here in the small area so they can get whatever they want. A lot of their tech support is not very reliable. The communication is poor, sometimes they will miss appointments because they have written it in their calendars wrong. I would not give them any kind of positive feedback. The last supervisor I have talked to was terrific. But that was one person out of the year and a half that I have dealt with them here in this area. She was just a peach. Everybody else gets an F. They're failing in a lot of ways here. I have to use them. I'm renting here and they're the only service so I have no choice.
