I cannot speak highly enough of Francine Milam, her drive to help her clients find the home of their dreams and her unwavering work ethic. My husband and I started working with Francine after unsuccessfully house hunting for nearly a year. We were pre-approved for a mortgage and looking for something rather specific. We needed a 5 acre parcel for horses, a house large enough to accommodate visiting family and the ability to add a guest house for my mother to move in with us upon retirement. As it turns out, homes fitting this criteria are not only hard to come by, but highly desired! As soon as a home hit the market, it was under contract. It soon became obvious that we couldn?t do this ourselves and we needed help. When I called Francine and explained our situation, budget and wish list of criteria, she dropped everything and immediately got to work. Not only did we see everything on the market in our niche and price range, but she researched the home, sellers and neighborhood and brought so much more to the table than listing price and home features. After searching for as long as we had, my husband and I were getting a little desperate and were willing to settle for a home that really wasn?t right for us. Francine talked us out of it, and I am so grateful she did because she found our dream house just days later! Seeing how competitive the market has become and scarce new listings have become, Francine got creative. Instead of waiting for new listings to hit the market, she reached out to all of her contacts to see if anything new was coming to the market. One of them responded, stating she had a home to be listed the following morning that may fit our needs! Francine, again, dropped everything and went out to look at this home, took photos and called me. She scheduled a showing for that evening, the night before the listing became active, and we were in contract the following morning! She knew this house had everything on our wish list and was going to sell fast, and she was right! The following day, the seller received a few more offers and had we not gotten there first, we would have missed out. The best part was the listing price was far below our budget! Francine could have encouraged us to buy a higher priced home to maximize her commission, but she didn?t. Her diligent efforts and desire to go way above and beyond is the only reason we bought a home. Had it not been for her, we would still be searching and I am very grateful for Francine?s help.
