Calvin Hoyt Landscaping

The worst. Will steal your money. He owes me $300. Pool hall where he hangs out said master con artist.

I have been using Calvin for many years.  I have dealt with his lack of punctuality and his not being true to his word because I felt he was really trying to make a business for himself.  My last experience has finally made me give up on him. 
When he cleared my roof of the branches that he cut, his helper backed into the skylight and broke it which left a 4" x 5" triangular hole.  When I pointed this out, he stated that he would pay the $445. to replace it.  I,also, mentioned that when he had a limb cut from one of our trees, the "tree guy" just let the chunks of wood crash to the ground which broke a sprinkler pipe.  He said that he would pay for that also.   An additional $25.  He said that he would bring it on the 1st of Nov.  He never showed up. 
I left messages almost everday since then.  I finally received a call and he said that he would bring the money on Saturday.  He never showed up.  After many, many phone calls I reached him one more time and he said that he will be bringing the money at 9:30 the next day. I waited all day and he never showed up and never called. I called his again and as usual the phone just doesn't get answered.  I can never find him at home either.  I give up. 
I  will never trust him or his word again.  If he finally does pay me the $470.  Great!  But I still would not use him again.
I have waited 2 1/2 months for payment.  I have not heard from him in two months.  Safe to say, he is not going to pay me and that is why I am finally submitting this review.
