Ann Johnsrud Design

Ann is a very nice person to work with. I was given her name at Indian River Furniture - they had worked with her several times on window treatments and passed along her contact info.  She arrived at our house very punctually, and was very nice to work with. She brought multiple fabric sample books so I could see and touch all options she offered.
Her quote was not detailed out with how much each aspect of the final project cost, I was just given a final amount estimate.  But I was eager to get multiple fabric cornices recovered before company arrived so I immediately accepted.
In retrospect, it turns out I paid too much for the service, but again I was interested in immediacy, not competitive pricing.
Her seamstresses came through, on time for us, and her son came with her to hang the final product.
The fabric was exactly what I picked, but a few of the seams and piping were crooked.  I work from home for a high-paced software company so I was only able to quickly approve the hung cornices, but after they left, I began closer inspection and was disappointed with the quality of the finished product.  I feel like I paid a LOT Of money to simply RE-Upholster a built frame and ended up with a mediocre finished product.
Her additional ideas for our spaces were a bit too formal and "old school" for my taste, but I enjoyed our brief camaraderie nonetheless.  She is a nice person and probably has some great window covering ideas for certain tastes, but I personally will not be hiring her for additional window coverings in the future.
