Went to ER at 3AM Sunday for extreme pain. Never saw a doctor. Phys Assistant gave oxycontin which was no help for pain. He sang sad song about opiods unavailability and said sorry, Bye bye. Collapsed and wound up back in ER Thursday morning by ambulance. Incoherent, non responsive. Drs eliminated stroke and determined I was in septic shock from severe blood infection. Admitted and spent 3 weeks in ICU intubated and had tracheotomy.. 3MRIs and 2 CAT scans determined abcesses in shoulder and spreading throughout the body. Dr. drained 3 abcesses. He never came back to remove stitches before discharge to rehab hospital. Nurses never turned patient resulting in fungal infection of skin on back, very nearly a bedsore covering the whole back. Nurses and Drs were nice to speak to, but very very lacking in professional expertise and preventive medicine.

I entered the emergency room late in the evening with chest pains and concern that it might be a pending heart attack. Initial processing was quick, and I received preliminary screening to eliminate any immediate concerns.
Several medical tests were performed the next day and determined that there were no heart problems. So I was released after less than 24 hours in the ER.
Observations: a very nice, new hospital with all private rooms; great food with choices for patients; friendly and competent medical staff. My main concern was the extremely high charges of more than $40,000, with only tests and no surgeries or treatments.
(Four days later, I was admitted to the ER of a different hospital after having a seizure and passing out at home. Had a temperature of 104.5 degrees, serious blood infection, flu type B, and gall bladder problem. Don't know if any of this was the result of the earlier hospitalization.)

She's very friendly and answers alot of questions. Makes me feel very comfortable. I'm pregnant right now so my husband likes her too. I like her honesty and her upfrontness, she doesn't ever try to beat around the bush. If you have any issues in making the appointments, they will work with you. They have totally put me at ease. They are just what i'm looking for.

They were very caring, it was a very clean environment and I barely had a wait, The nurses were constantly asking if I had any questions. It was overall a very good experience.

Nursing staff in the emergency room were competent and put me at ease. Following admittance to the hospital nurses and technicians were friendly and efficient. The surroundings were clean and it was a pleasure to have a private room. The quality of food was even good. Overall experience was very good.

I had to walk out of there with having a heart monitor and everything else for four days because they did not have the time to give me a wheelchair to leave. I was put in the emergency room by my son and was there for hours and a time. I was in there for four days with a heart catheterization with the bandages still on me from the day before and the doctors never saw me to look at that. They didn't even come to release me and did it through the computer and didn't tell the nurses. I got out of there at 8:00 that night and the doctors never came to see me. After the heart catheterization I had no idea what caused my heart problems, but I have Lupus. They never got me a wheelchair and I walked out of there going through fogginess because I was still under medication. I could have fallen. I would never recommend them. I told all my family, friends and everybody not to go to Trinity Hospital. Even though it's ten minutes away from me I will never return there. Price wise they were horrible and professionally they were horrible. I only saw the doctor who did it for one minute. I would not recommend those doctors because there was no respect. The doctors were not professional in the emergency room. He hollered at me and I was stressed out. They didn't pay attention to what I had to tell them, what medicines I was on, the Lupus and everything else. They could care less. They didn't know what was wrong with me and they didn't care. I was admitted. I had a lot of blood work done and everything else. They knew that I was under distress because I couldn't breathe. There were some people during the x-rays that were good, but most of the doctor's were not professional. Some of the nurses were fine, but the doctors were horrible. It was almost over $100,000 for four days. You have to have someone in a wheelchair because that is the law, but they didn't. They were going to get me a wheelchair and then turned around and said that they didn't have time. The nurse was right there and had a half hour to get it for me. They didn't help me get dressed and I had to pull the heart monitor off of me because they didn't take it off. I was supposed to have been released at 1:30 in the afternoon and it was 7:30, so I got out of there at 8:00. It's a new hospital and is only 18 months old. I didn't know anything about it and I knew it was new. I thought that it wouldn't hurt to go to a brand new hospital because they would treat you right, but they don't.
