Better than expected.

Fabulous !!!! My dream come true !!! Mary of (Gourmet Gardens, LLC) listened to my wish list and turned my dreams into reality. She was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, super positive, hard-working, totally professional and enjoyed making my dreams come true. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with this company.

I called Mary, the owner of Gourmet Gardens, after reading her excellent reviews on Angie's List.  She responded to my voice message within a few hours.  She set up a time to meet with my husband and me the next day to discuss our landscaping plans.  I had a general idea of what I wanted, but wasn't sure what would "work" here in Florida.  (My husband and I moved to FL two years ago from Northeast Missouri.)  Mary was delightful from our first "hello" and we were impressed with her knowledge and skill and LOVE of landscaping and wildlife.  This isn't just a job for her, it is a calling . . . . . . . a passion!  She was so easy to work with and really listened to what we were wanting.                                       
Mary immediately came up with a plan, estimate,  and time frame in which the job would be completed  She and her crew took care of everything including purchasing of all the materials and plants.  The job was to be completed in five days, but was actually completed in three.  They even worked during the rain.  Mary's policy is that they will work during rain, but not when there is lightning.  I have never seen such hardworking people!  One of the hardest things was scooping the river rock out of the truck and placing it in the beds.  And this was done in the intense Florida heat!      Mary is so good to followup with our questions and gets back with us with answers about maintaining our plants.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Mary and her crew went above and beyond on this job and we couldn't be happier with our wonderful landscaping.  Sometimes, when I pull into our driveway, I just pause and sit back and admire our landscaping.  That's how much I love it!  Call Gourmet Gardens with any of your landscaping needs.  You won't regret it!

They're knowledgeable and experienced. They're prompt. They listen. They offer suggestions if you are unsure. They're very reasonable. They ae competitive in the area.

I found Mary very knowledgeable and professional. I like her attitude and work ethic. Her whole crew were very professional. There is a small glitch in the design but I contacted Mary and I have every confidence it will be fixed.

I plan to use her for additional work later in the year.

Mary and her crew are absolutely the BEST!  No matter what changes I wanted to make or additions after they started she accomodated me.  She went above and beyond and even removed the fish I had in the koa pond and kept them at her home until the pond was redone.  There are not enough nice words I can use to explain out great Gourmet Gardens is!  They are always there when they say they will be.  Mary communicates at every junction with you.  Because of so much rain the sod fields could not cut sod so Mary called me to let me know and rescheduled based on the information she received from the sod company.  She is AWESOME!!!!  I would not hesitate in any way to recommend her.

We hired Gourmet Gardens to replace a retaining wall.  They removed a 75 foot, rotting, carpenter bee infested, wood retaining wall.  After they removed the old wall, they constructed a new 75 foot retaining wall made out of railroad ties, reinforced with rue-bar.  The new wall is solid, strong, looks beautiful and will last for years to come.  On one side of the wall they had to remove three large, old, overgrown philodendrons with giant root systems.  After they were done they filled in the holes with new fill dirt, graded the remaining area and put down sod and new plants.  The results of all their work is just wonderful!  Mary and her crew work as a team, are professional, courteous and nice to be around.  They work hard and fast and keep cleaning up after themselves.  They kept us informed throughout the job,  showed up on time and answered any questions we had.  This job was money well spent and we would definitely hire them again and highly recommend them.

Very well. They were not the cheapest, but they did excellent work and did not cut any corners.

They came back in about a week and did the complete job in about three days. We are totally satisfied with the work and the new look it gives our house. She has been back once for a "quarterly spruce-up" and we expect to see her again in about a month.

Excellent customer service. Mary gave very good value for what I received. The Gourmet Gardens staff was courteous, professional and VERY hard working. I definitely got my money's worth on the labor portion of this installation. This has been the best landscaping experience I have ever had. I also retained her company for monthly maintenance services.

Our landscaping experience was perfect form start to finish.  Mary and her crew are very conscientious about the work they do, very friendly also.

Mary and her assistant Jeff were the hardest working people I have ever hired. They were on time or early for the 3 days they worked at adding landscaping to our property. They both were very knowledgeable and friendly. They worked in the heat and the rain and did a fabulous job! I highly recommend Gourmet Gardens.

Mary (the owner) along with her experienced staff have serviced our properties for over 5 years. We were fortunate to find Mary during the final stages of construction of our new home and she was able to provide us with a detailed plan and pricing of what was needed to give us the look we envisioned.  The end result was a lush, tropical yard that has made my home the envy of the neighborhood.  Mary provides quarterly maintenance for me that includes pruning, fertilizing, weeding, as well as, plant and grass replacement if needed.  She is an excellent, dedicated landscaper with an incredible eye and an amazing work ethic. I would highly recommend Gourmet Gardens.
