Very good, was seen about 10 minutes before scheduled. Informative and done earlier than expected. No script for glasses, recommended readers off of shelf. Ordered 6 pairs from American Reading Glasses, $30 including shipping.

I had several appointments and they followed up on all treatment. The staff at the surgical center was also very thorough and professional. I would highly recommend Lake eye and Dr Holman.

The initial examination on the first time we went to Dr. Shelby Terpstra was very thorough. There was no long waits. She had her appointments set up so that she could have her time with the individual but not have people lagging in time so she had to rush through things. She limited the amount of appointments she had at least on our initial visit. She knew how to handle any medical problems that we have. We had no complaints on how her office was ran or the time that she spent with us and how she explained things to us. We were happy with the experience.

Scheduled an appointment with Dr. Shelby Terpstra of Lake Eye Associates to have my eyes checked. Was very impressed with her thoroughness and her overall demeanor. She took her time, asked me if I had any questions for her and was just very nice. The staff here, from the receptionists to the assistants were all friendly. I particularly liked Wendy who checked my eyes for glasses. I would recommend Lake Eye Associates, and particularly Dr. Shelby Terpstra, to anyone who is looking for competent, friendly people who seem to actually care. I was quite pleased with the entire process until after my testing was done and I exited the building at noontime with the sun shining brightly, not a cloud in the sky. My eyes are particularly sensitive to bright lights.
The drops they put in my eyes had enlarged the pupils, I could barely see to find my car in the parking lot. Driving twenty miles to my home was a horribly scary experience. I wasn't sure exactly where the cars on either side of me on the road were. In my rear view mirror, I could not tell if it was a car with the headlines on following me or if it was two motorcyles side-by-side. When I entered my home, the interior appeared and quot;pitch dark greenand quot; when in fact the sunshine was pouring in through the windows.
BOTTOM LINE: The office did not give me the disposable sunglass that slips down behind my regular glasses to protect my eyes. This is UTTER PURE NEGLIGENCE. I pray that I will not be blinded from this event. I immediately called the office, left a message. Nobody returned my call. Now, I must decide whether it is to my best advantage to return to this Doctor's office (Dr. Vocci.)
Just yesterday, 3/13/2013, I picked up the sunglasses I ordered from Precision Optics which is located in the same waiting room of Dr. Vocci. I found the personnel to be efficient; my eyes were so happy driving back home in the bright sunlight.

Dr. Shelby Tertfpra from Lake Eye Associates got me in instantly. She's thorough, efficient, timely and professional. Her office is well-run, organized and you don't have to wait too long.

Exam was thorough and medication has slowed and controlled the procession of this disease of the eye which could have potentially hindered her blind if not caught.

Went for a checkup to find out daughter has glaucoma. Both my husband and myself have since been seen by this facility and are still very very pleased. Recommend them 100%
